Oh my gosh, you guys, did you SEE Ethan Hawke and Andrew Scott at the Blue Moon premiere?! They were SO cute together! They actually hugged – like, a *real* hug, and it was just the sweetest, most playful thing ever. I swear, my heart melted right there on the red carpet. I have pictures, of course. So many pictures!
The actors attended the stylish event on Thursday as part of the BFI London Film Festival.
Ethan, 54, looked stylish for the event in a dark navy suit and a white shirt with delicate black detailing.
Andrew, age 48, chose a classic and simple outfit: a sharp black suit worn over a black shirt.
The pair seemed happy and cheerful as they took photos before going inside to watch the movie.
Other notable attendees at the event included Victoria Brown, Giles Surridge, and Stevie Ruffs.

Blue Moon is a story about Lorenz Hart, a Broadway songwriter, and his battles with alcohol and mental health issues, all unfolding as the famous musical Oklahoma! is being created.
Ethan plays Lorenz while Margaret stars as his protégée and Yale student Elizabeth Weiland.
Andrew plays Lorenz’s longtime composing partner, Richard Rodgers.
Lorenz wrote the lyrics for many popular songs, including classics like “Blue Moon,” “The Lady Is a Tramp,” “Manhattan,” and “My Funny Valentine.”
Richard Linklater’s new film will be released on October 24th by Sony Pictures Classics and Renovo Media Group.
Ethan has shared how he’s changed, embracing a look similar to Hart – including his height of five feet.
To prepare for his latest role, the actor shaved his head and then wore a messy, greasy comb-over. He told The Hollywood Reporter that the hairstyle was a blow to his ego.
We used some classic filmmaking tricks to make me appear shorter, and honestly, it worked a little *too* well. I spent the whole day positioned lower than I normally am, and ended up constantly looking up at Margaret Qualley during our scenes.

He thought about how people’s behavior towards him changed, especially how women acted around him. He noticed people often treated him playfully – they’d laugh, touch his ear, or pat his head – and didn’t seem to respect his opinions.
Understanding Larry Hart and his perspective on life was incredibly important to me.
This appearance follows Ethan’s recent comments about how surprising it is that actors are sometimes chosen for roles simply because they have a large number of followers on Instagram.
The actor from Before Sunrise discussed this while at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.
The actor said he doesn’t understand why some casting directors seem to value a large social media following more than actual skill and experience.
You know, as someone who works in the entertainment industry, I truly empathize with actors and filmmakers navigating this new landscape. It’s become incredibly challenging. I often find myself in situations where someone suggests a particular actor, and when I ask who they are, the response is simply, ‘They have ten million followers!’ It’s a shift in priorities that’s definitely impacting how projects get cast, and it’s a tough spot to be in when talent is valued more for their social media presence than their acting ability.
He questioned whether having a public online presence was essential for his career, and if gaining more followers could lead to opportunities. He seemed frustrated, asking, ‘Is that really how it works?’
