Avengers Rumor Teases Mystery X-Men Actor Will Appear in Important Scene

A new rumor regarding Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars has emerged online.

Filming has finished on Marvel Studios’ *Avengers: Doomsday*, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The movie is scheduled for release next year, and will be followed by *Avengers: Secret Wars* in 2027.

What is the latest Avengers rumor?

Marvel insiders say Teyonah Parris, Lashana Lynch, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, and a currently unconfirmed X-Men actor are scheduled to film a scene in the coming weeks that continues the story from the end of last year’s *The Marvels*. According to scooper James Mack, this scene will feature a surprise or special guest appearance.

Currently, reports about an X-Men character appearing in the next Avengers movies are just speculation. Although the post-credit scene in The Marvels might be followed up on, Marvel hasn’t officially confirmed anything. It’s also uncertain if actors Lynch and Parris will be in Avengers: Doomsday, as they weren’t listed in the first cast announcement.

Both Hugh Jackman (as Beast) and Patrick Stewart (as Professor X) are confirmed to return for *Avengers: Doomsday*. As a huge Marvel fan, I’ve got the dates marked on my calendar! Apparently, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is coming out December 18, 2026 – it’s all part of Phase 6 of the MCU. And if that wasn’t enough, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ is scheduled for December 17, 2027. Seriously, I can’t wait!
