Millie Mackintosh and her ex-husband, Professor Green, have reached a friendly place after a difficult breakup and divorce, reportedly enjoying their best relationship in ten years.
The couple divorced in 2016 after being married for three years. Recently, Stephen Manderson, known as Green, shared that they had started talking again after not speaking for nine years.
Sources say the British rapper and his former wife – now married to her *Made In Chelsea* co-star, Hugo Taylor – have put any past disagreements behind them and are now friends.
According to a source, Stephen and Millie were deeply in love, but they both realized it wasn’t the right moment for a relationship.
Millie and Stephen have both started new chapters in their lives. Millie seems to have found happiness with her two daughters, while Stephen’s relationship is facing some challenges.
However, there’s been a significant improvement – they’ve started talking to each other again and are getting along better than they have in ten years.

Becoming parents has been a major influence on both of them, and they’ve both matured significantly. They’ve also stopped drinking, something that caused problems during their relationship.
Mackintosh and Taylor have two daughters, five-year-old Siena and three-year-old Aurelia. Meanwhile, Green shares a four-year-old son, Slimane, with his partner, actress Karima Adebibe.
The rapper recently reconnected with his ex-wife, and he shared the news during a conversation with her friend, Jamie Laing, on his podcast, Great Company.
Green shared that he and Mackintosh developed a strong connection due to both realizing they had previously undiagnosed ADHD, and that this shared experience created a bond between them.
He admitted that the pressure they were under likely led to their marriage, and it almost didn’t happen at all.
I was talking with my two closest friends, Lewis and Phoenix, and I was starting to feel really unsure about something. I actually asked them, “Am I getting cold feet? What’s making me feel this way?” One of them honestly said I was, and the other didn’t think so. I’m not going to say which one said what, because it wasn’t fair to put them in the middle of it – it was my thing to figure out, not theirs.
I chose what was right for me, and we both agreed on it. We decided not to get married, but it wasn’t because of any bad feelings – we genuinely cared for each other.
It likely involved a type of unhealthy attachment that can form after difficult experiences. It’s hard to admit, but it takes real self-awareness to recognize you played a significant role – at least half – in a situation that ultimately didn’t succeed, especially when another person was involved.

‘But hopefully we can both go forward and find happiness and belonging.’
He also called his ex-wife ‘beautiful’ as he added: ‘There’s no resentment in me. She is gorgeous.
‘We were not good for each other at that time.’
They officially divorced in May 2016, and that same week, Mackintosh publicly announced his relationship with Taylor.
The couple got engaged in Mykonos, Greece, the next year and then married in Sussex in June 2018.
The couple welcomed daughter Sienna in 2020 and daughter Aurelia in 2021..
Mackintosh recently shared on Brogan Garrit-Smith’s podcast, Getting There, that she experienced a difficult period following her divorce.
Looking back on her marriage, she realized they were both dealing with personal difficulties and perhaps hoped the other could help them overcome those challenges. Ultimately, though, it didn’t work out.
We were both dealing with personal difficulties, and being together only made them worse. It became a really unhealthy situation.
