The characters from Among Us are heading to Subway Surfers for a fun adventure! Plus, there’s a special challenge to uncover who the Imposter is.
So, Subway Surfers is doing a special event from October 20th to November 3rd. Basically, it’s giving me even more reasons to keep running, jumping, and grabbing those coins! It’s gonna be a busy couple of weeks racking up points.
The adorable characters from Among Us are taking over the virtual subway! They’re hosting a special event where players can earn character skins and awesome hoverboards.
Among Us Staged City Tour
Staying true to classic Subway Surfers, the latest Among Us update introduces a brand new city to explore. What makes this one special is its design – instead of being based on a real-world location, it’s themed around the spaceships from Among Us, bringing that look and feel to the game’s running tracks.
- Among Us Staged City Tour is a limited-time event to turn the subway tracks, railway cars, and even game characters into the Among Us experience.
The game is a simple loop: you run, grab coins, earn rewards, and dodge obstacles. As you play, you’ll strive for high scores and unlock cool items to customize your character.

Okay, so the event is giving us some cool stuff! I can snag Among Us-themed hoverboards, which is awesome, and six new characters for Subway Surfers. They’re all decked out like the Crewmates from Among Us, but with details inspired by Jake, Tricky, Guard, Spike, and the rest of the Subway Surfers crew. It’s a really neat crossover, seeing those two worlds blend together!
You’ll get new items and resources as you advance through different levels. The ultimate goal is to figure out who the Imposter is!
Reveal the Imposter in Subway Surfers
The Among Us update in Subway Surfers features a new track and characters based on the popular game, and includes a special challenge where players can test their detective skills.
- Find the Impostor — The time-limited challenge is inspired by the original quest from Among Us.

Cool events to carve the game’s future
Subway Surfers has been trying out team-up events this year, and they’re a fun addition to the game. After a September 2025 event featuring characters from Brawl Stars – which let players enjoy a special multiplayer experience – they’re continuing this trend with an event based on Among Us.
The game was incredibly enjoyable when it first came out, but the fun didn’t last. Too many ads and repeating the same seasonal events eventually made it less exciting.
Hosting special events is really exciting. They encourage players like us to revisit the game after a long break and work towards earning exclusive rewards.
The ads are still present and quite disruptive. They ultimately detract from the experience, making the ad-free option – even the least expensive one – a worthwhile consideration. If you’re just playing casually, don’t bother with the pricier packages, as the extra features are mainly for serious, dedicated players.

Mexico Halloween is up and running
During Halloween, Subway Surfers is hosting an Among Us-themed event. The game’s tracks will be decorated with candles, and players can collect special tokens to unlock exclusive Halloween rewards.
The ultimate reward is a great skin of Mateo.

If you’re new to Subway Surfers, remember that upgrading your pick-ups like in an RPG can really help. Also, don’t be afraid to use hoverboards and the bonuses you get at the start of a run – they’re key to getting high scores.
