Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is a fast-paced team battle game – a MOBA – where four players on each team fight it out. It combines strategic gameplay with the popular Dragon Ball universe from Bandai Namco. This guide will walk you through the basics of the game’s map so you can quickly get the hang of things.
Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Map basics
The Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra map is designed with two paths to create a fast-paced, open, and circular battlefield. Gameplay focuses on capturing zones, defeating strong bosses, and controlling the map to win. This guide will provide more detailed information about the Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra map.
Spawn Ground

Spawning grounds are circular areas located on the far edges of the map. When a Dragon Ball hero is defeated, they respawn there. Standing on a spawning ground also quickly restores a hero’s health and boosts their movement speed.
Dragon Shells

This is the last barrier protecting your team’s Dragon Balls. After defeating all of your opponent’s Gods of Destruction, you can target their dragon shell. Destroying it will let you claim the Dragon Ball and win the game.
Gods of Destruction

As a huge fan, I’ve learned that the Gods of Destruction are basically the guardians of the Dragon Balls. You absolutely *have* to beat them to progress! It’s super dangerous to go into their territory unless you’ve got Zen-Oh with you – otherwise, they’ll immediately attack. But if Zen-Oh *is* around, you can fight them safely. The cool thing is, a friendly God of Destruction can even heal you and repair your armor during the battle!
Zen-Oh
Zen-Oh is crucial for defeating the enemy Gods of Destruction. During the fight, both Zen-Ohs – our ally and the enemy – will move forward along different paths, taking turns. When our Zen-Oh enters the territory controlled by an enemy God of Destruction, that God won’t be able to attack. However, Zen-Oh can only stay for a short time and will vanish when a timer reaches zero.
Bandits
Throughout the game, you’ll encounter small enemies in each lane. Defeating these enemies earns you experience points, which help you level up and become more powerful. These enemies include weaker and moderately strong bandits, each offering a different amount of experience.
Supreme Kais
A powerful Supreme Kai appears at 35 seconds into the match, running down the lane between you and your opponent. Defeating it gives you a large amount of experience points, helping you level up quickly and become more powerful.
Epic Bosses
Two minutes into the game, powerful bosses like Nappa and Android 16 will appear. Defeating these high-health enemies gives your team a lot of experience and helpful bonuses. These bosses don’t stay in one place forever – after you defeat one around the 2-minute mark, another will appear at the 4-minute mark, and so on. They will spawn in either the top or bottom lane.

As a longtime fan, I’ve noticed that bosses like Ribrianne and Jaco usually show up around the 6-minute mark. They tend to appear after you’ve already taken down one of the earlier, bigger bosses. And speaking of those earlier bosses, here’s a rundown of what you get for beating them!
- Nappa: Provides 30% Rush attack Damage boost for all members of the team who secured the objectives.
- Android 16: Provides 15% Movement Speed boost for all members of the team who secured the objectives.
- Ribrianne: Provides steady healing for all members of the team who secured the objectives.
- Jaco: Provides 20% Skill damage for all members of the team who secured the objectives.
So, tackling these big objectives isn’t just about points – it’s how you take down the enemy’s Gods of Destruction. Here’s a cool tip: if we manage to knock out three of these main bosses, it’ll actually spawn two Grand Zenos in each lane! That’s huge because it lets our team split push really effectively and grab those enemy Dragon Shells. Basically, it makes pushing lanes and securing objectives a lot easier.
