Steve Rogers’ new team in Avengers: Doomsday revealed
According to a recent rumor, Captain America (Steve Rogers) might join forces with Doctor Doom, the Fantastic Four, and other Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes in a future film called ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ to deal with threats from different universes.
A well-known insider, MyTimetoShineHello, reported on X (formerly Twitter) that Doctor Doom will seek assistance from the Fantastic Four to handle a crisis involving incursions – events threatening to destroy worlds. According to the source, Doom, the Fantastic Four, and Steve Rogers will journey to the primary Marvel Cinematic Universe to alert its heroes about the danger. Together, they’ll create a plan to address the problem and travel to the universe where the X-Men reside, as that world holds an incursion poised to wipe out both Earths.
According to a recent post, in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ Victor seeks assistance from the Fantastic Four regarding the Incursions. Together with Steve Rogers, they journey to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in their ship to deliver a warning. They then team up and travel to the X-Men universe, which is where the next Incursion threatening both their worlds will originate. They believe they have a way to resolve the crisis.
While this sounds interesting, it’s currently just a rumor. Fans will have to watch the movie to see if it actually happens.
Despite Marvel’s secrecy, new story details about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film are starting to leak. One recent rumor claims Thor will join forces with Steve Rogers and will be aboard the Fantastic Four’s ship with Rogers and Doctor Doom before the ship even enters the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There’s also talk that Doctor Doom won’t be facing Doomsday alone, and will have help from several masked allies – both male and female.
The new Avengers movie, titled Doomsday, will be released in theaters on December 18th. The film features a mix of familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with new cast members and actors previously known for their roles in the X-Men films.
