Swayvo Twain, a 28-year-old musician, shared a moving post on Instagram about the recent loss of both his parents. His mother, acclaimed singer Angie Stone, tragically died in a car accident in Alabama in March at age 63. His Grammy-winning father, D’Angelo, passed away Tuesday after privately fighting cancer; he was 51.

Archer shared on Instagram that he was heartbroken watching his father pass away, especially because they had finally started to connect and build a relationship. He also noted that his father had been a vital support system after his mother’s death.
