I Did Not Have Andrew Garfield Performing An Acoustic Version Of Spider-Man’s Theme On My Bingo Card, But It’s So Catchy

Superhero movies are incredibly popular, so it’s no surprise that classic heroes have been brought to the big screen many times. A great example is Spider-Man, who’s had three separate movie series (and is now available on Disney+). Andrew Garfield famously played Peter Parker in *The Amazing Spider-Man* films, and later joined other Spider-Men in *No Way Home*. While fans are constantly wondering if and when he’ll appear in future Marvel movies, nobody expected him to surprise everyone by playing the Spider-Man theme song on guitar! He certainly knows how to keep things interesting.

Details about the upcoming *Avengers: Doomsday* movie are scarce, but many fans are eager to see Andrew Garfield reprise his role as Spider-Man, either in that film or *Secret Wars*. After giving a mysterious answer about the *Avengers* rumors, Garfield recently performed on *The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon*, showcasing a fitting talent – playing the Spider-Man theme song on guitar. You can watch the performance below.

Isn’t that just the cutest? It’s a shame he hasn’t performed this song publicly before now. Imagine if his character, Peter Parker, had played it in a movie – it would have been incredible! Those who know Andrew Garfield are aware he’s a talented singer, as demonstrated by his Oscar nomination for Tick, Tick… BOOM! , which you can watch on Netflix.

Disney+ offers a streaming library including Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Spider-Man movies. You can subscribe with ads for $9.99 a month (increasing to $11.99 on October 21, 2025), go ad-free for $15.99 a month (increasing to $18.99 on October 21, 2025), or pay $159.99 upfront for a year to save 16%. Andrew Garfield is generating buzz with a fun moment on Jimmy Fallon’s show while promoting his new film, *After The Hunt*, which also stars Julia Roberts and Ayo Edebiri. Though he’s known for playing Spider-Man, this musical appearance is grabbing attention and sparking more discussion about whether he might reprise the role in future Marvel movies.

After keeping his involvement a secret for months to avoid ruining the surprise, Garfield made a celebrated return as Spider-Man in *No Way Home*. Seeing all three Spider-Man actors together was a huge thrill for fans, and many were deeply moved when Garfield’s Peter Parker rescued MJ, offering a chance for redemption after being unable to save Gwen.

Since winning a Tony Award, fans have been curious about Andrew Garfield’s future as Spider-Man. He’s said a third *Amazing Spider-Man* movie isn’t planned, which led to speculation he might appear in the upcoming *Avengers* films or even alongside Tom Holland in *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. With the current Multiverse Saga, anything could happen – especially since we’ve already seen the three different Spider-Men team up and connect.

Marvel’s next big screen adventure is *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, coming to theaters on July 31st, 2026. Meanwhile, the animated film *After The Hunt* featuring Garfield is currently playing in select cinemas and will be available in more theaters starting October 17th. Fans are hoping to see Garfield reprise his role as Spider-Man again soon.
