Princess Andre announced that her reality show, ‘The Princess Diaries,’ on ITV2 will be back for two more seasons.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m FREAKING OUT! Princess just posted on Instagram that her show is coming back for another season! I’ve been following her forever, and I’m so happy it’s been renewed – I can’t wait to see what she gets up to next! Seriously, best news ever!
Speaking to the camera, she said: ‘I’m so excited to tell you what I’m about to tell you.
‘I want to thank everyone who gave me so much love for season one of The Princess Diaries.
I’m thrilled to share that there will be two new installments of The Princess Diaries released in 2026! I’m incredibly excited and can hardly wait.
Many of you have been wondering, and I couldn’t share the news until now, but here it is! I’ll see you all in 2026.
I was completely hooked by the first season! It followed Princess as she navigated growing up and dealt with her family, all while getting ready to turn 18. It was a massive success for ITV2 – honestly, it was their biggest launch since Love Island and Big Brother, which says a lot!
I was thrilled to see the premiere brought in a million viewers! And honestly, I’m not surprised – the show’s already been streamed 6.4 million times, which just proves how much everyone is loving it as much as I am.
The event featured Princess making her first appearance on the runway at the Ibiza Fashion Festival, and a behind-the-scenes look at her career as she landed her first major brand deal.
On her show, Princess shared personal stories about her upbringing, including the challenges of growing up with public attention and her parents’ difficult divorce.
After her mother and Kieran Hayler separated, she often cried and confessed she wished she’d had a more joyful upbringing. Kieran Hayler later apologized to her in an interview with the Daily Mail for moving out of the family home.
While filming scenes for *The Princess Diaries*, the celebrity spoke about witnessing Katie’s difficult struggles, including her battles with substance abuse, financial hardship, and a serious deterioration in her mental wellbeing.
Since August, Princess has remained neutral following a public disagreement between her parents. The conflict began when Peter criticized Katie for making what he called false claims about the time her children, Junior and Princess, spend with each parent.
Although Katie wasn’t allowed to film, Princess’s family – her father Peter, stepmother Emily, and brother Junior – were all important parts of the show.

In the season one finale, Peter gave a heartfelt speech at Princess’s 18th birthday, expressing how proud he was of the person she had become.
Katie skipped the party because she didn’t want to be reminded that she hadn’t been invited. She felt it would be upsetting to see others enjoying themselves when she was excluded.
She explained that the princess was turning eighteen and having a party to celebrate, but she wasn’t invited. The reason? Her ex, Pete, doesn’t want to be around her.
Princess responded to her mother’s remarks in an interview with the Daily Mail, explaining that it would feel strange if her divorced parents were at the same event. She added that she’s always celebrated important occasions with each of them individually.
Honestly, the way my life usually works is pretty simple. I’ve always split my days – I spend the mornings with one parent and then switch to the other in the evenings. It’s just been my routine forever.
It turned out my mum couldn’t be there, but my dad decided to throw me a surprise birthday party on the spot, and we ended up filming it for the show.
It would be really awkward for both my parents to be in the same room, and I think a lot of people with divorced parents would understand why.
