Rupert Everett, 66, reveals he will get a $700K facelift like Kris Jenner’s if My Best Friend’s Wedding 2 goes ahead – as he teases sequel with Julia Roberts

Rupert Everett says he’s planning to get a $700,000 facelift – the same procedure Kris Jenner had – if a sequel to ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding‘ is made.

The 66-year-old English actor made a joke about considering cosmetic surgery while discussing a possible sequel during an appearance on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Wednesday.

Talks of a sequel began this summer when Dermot Mulroney hinted at the second chapter in the story.

Rupert sparked speculation about a possible reunion with Julia Roberts, but joked he’d need some cosmetic adjustments – specifically to his jawline – if he were to film another movie with her, over thirty years after their 1997 film came out.

Radio host Chris asked: ‘What’s going on with you and Julia?’

Rupert said: ‘Me and Julia Roberts? Well, There’s talk of my best friend’s wedding two.

I was reading in The Times today about a new deep muscle facelift that costs around $700,000, and honestly, if that ever becomes necessary for me, I think I’d seriously consider getting it.

‘Kris Jenner’s had one. I mean she really does look like she’s 17 now. It’s very, very weird.’

Chris asked: ‘Do you want to look like that?’

Rupert explained that he wasn’t concerned with talent, but with having a strong jawline. He specifically mentioned wanting to reduce his jowls, believing a defined jaw is the most important physical attribute for an actor.

He explained that a jawline creates both shadow and a distinct visual element, contributing to the image’s overall quality.

People noticed a big change in Kris in May after she revealed her new look, which came after a $100,000 facelift.

Sources confirmed she had work done by Dr. Steven M. Levine, a well-known plastic surgeon often called the ‘facelift maestro,’ to get her refreshed appearance.

In the movie *My Best Friend’s Wedding*, Julia Roberts plays a food critic who is shocked and worried to find out her close friend, Michael (played by Dermot Mulroney), is getting married.

The two had promised each other if they were still single by age 28, they would marry each other.

Okay, so things just got *really* interesting! After finding out some major news, my client Julianna – we call her Jules – realized she needed to make a big change. She decided to end her engagement and, honestly, pursue what her heart truly wants with Michael. It’s a bold move, but sometimes you have to follow your gut!

The movie helped launch the career of Cameron Diaz, now 52, who played the young bride that Roberts’ character, Julianne, wished she could leave at the altar.

It also introduced Rupert to American audiences as Jules’ gay best friend George.
