Jonathan Ross has shared his thoughts on being a part of *The Celebrity Traitors*, following Paloma Faith’s elimination last week as the first ‘murdered’ contestant.
The celebrity version of the hit show *The Traitors* premiered last week. Claudia Winkleman chose Jonathan, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns to play the secret ‘Traitors’ who will try to deceive the other contestants.
This year, the series was shot on location at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands this April. Viewers can watch two new episodes each Wednesday and Thursday this October on BBC One.

Celebrities like Stephen Fry, Clare Balding, Tom Daley, and Celia Imrie are competing on the show, and while they’ve been tight-lipped about what’s coming up, Jonathan has shared that he didn’t enjoy being a Traitor during filming.
Jonathan mentioned on his podcast, *Reel Talk*, that he’d heard some of his celebrity friends were being asked about a potential second season of the show.

I’ve had a couple of famous friends reach out to me asking for my advice on whether or not to participate, and I’ve been sharing my experiences with them. Honestly, I didn’t have a good time with it myself.
His daughter responded, “You mentioned it was really hard and challenging. Now that we know…”
Jonathan admitted, “I feel like a traitor. The constant lying was really getting to me and made me deeply uncomfortable.”
Okay, so last week on the show, the Traitors had to eliminate someone for the first time, and it was pretty sneaky. They had to touch the person they wanted to get rid of, and Alan actually did it to Paloma – a friend of his, no less! He pretended to just brush some hair off her face, but that was the signal she was out. It was a really clever, but also kinda messed up, move.

Paloma described her experience on the show as a rollercoaster, admitting she often felt anxious during filming.
I went into the situation knowing I’m a very outgoing person and would definitely stand out,” she said. “I knew I couldn’t just blend in and be unnoticed.
I’m an open and expressive person, so keeping my feelings to myself has always been difficult. I need to talk things out rather than bottle them up.
I had a strong feeling something was off right away. Looking back, I probably shared too much information. While my approach wasn’t ideal during the game, it usually works well in my everyday life.
You can watch *The Celebrity Traitors* on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. All three series of *The Traitors* are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
