Lily Allen is reportedly set to make a huge comeback after seven years with a secret new album.

The pop star and actress will release her new album through her record label, BMG, this fall, according to a report in The Daily Mail from earlier this year.

People are saying the singer wrote the whole album in only ten days, and it will share the story of her divorce from David Harbour.

According to a source close to the artist, her new music will detail her relocation to New York City and explore the emotional aftermath of her divorce from David Harbour.

‘There’s a real outpouring of emotions in it. 

‘She’s not had the easiest time and she’s ready to bare her soul.’

Daily Mail has contacted Lily’s representative for comment. 

Lily had split from David after discovering his ‘secret profile’ on exclusive dating app Raya.

During a live podcast recording in March, Lily shared that she was still processing her recent breakup.

She admitted: ‘I am not over it. I am sort of running away. Maybe I will have a nervous breakdown.’

After ending her relationship with David, Lily announced in August that she is leaving her New York townhouse.

The couple bought an art deco house in Brooklyn in 2020, soon after getting married in Las Vegas. The home was so beautiful, it was even featured in Architectural Digest magazine.

News of their breakup surfaced last December, and shortly after, rumors spread that the actor from Stranger Things had been unfaithful to the singer.

Lily, hoping for a new beginning as she navigates difficulties in her marriage, recently bought a flat in London that was once owned by the local council. She’s been focusing on decorating it, which she says has been a positive distraction during a challenging period.

Lily Allen recently shared with The Mirror that she’s been finding solace and inspiration in interior design magazines. She explained that after a difficult period, browsing these magazines has been a really positive influence on her.

In March, Lily discussed her new home on her podcast, Miss Me?, sharing that she and her two daughters will be living there. She spoke with her co-host, Miquita Oliver, about the property.

In 2023, Lily and her former partner David finished renovating the house, working with interior designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff. They showcased the completed project in a tour featured in Architectural Digest.

In May, Lily openly shared that she was feeling very sad and lonely at home in New York City after her recent breakup.

The singer, who announced her breakup with David in January, shared that she’s been feeling down and restless because she doesn’t have many commitments keeping her in town.

She moved to Brooklyn in 2020 to be closer to David, enrolling her daughters in local schools.
