Okay, so I was *devastated* to see Ella Morgan from Married At First Sight get so upset in her latest post. She was talking about all the awful, transphobic hate she’s been getting online, and honestly, it broke my heart. She was really vulnerable and just opened up about how much it’s been affecting her, and it’s just… awful. I’m just so mad at all the people sending her those messages! She didn’t deserve that at all.
The 31-year-old reality star became well-known two years ago on a Channel 4 show and has since become a recognized advocate for transgender rights. She frequently connects with her fans by sharing her own life story.
Ella posted a photo on Instagram Monday showing her in tears, revealing she’s been dealing with hateful online harassment related to being transgender and is currently struggling emotionally.
She wrote that smiles can mask deeper feelings. She admits to often being the life of the party, but inwardly she’s quite different. She also wonders if she’ll regret sharing this, as she’s concerned about what people will think.
I usually keep my struggles to myself and don’t share when I’m feeling down. However, I felt a strong need to share this now, hoping it might help me feel better, or even help someone else who is going through a difficult time.
Everyone faces challenges in life, and I’m no exception. You may have noticed I’ve been less active on social media lately, and there are personal reasons for that.

Social media often makes life seem perfect, but that’s not always reality.
Dealing with constant online harassment and negative media coverage about transgender people is exhausting. Combined with the everyday challenges of work, feeling unwell, personal issues, and the pressure of being a visible advocate, it can feel incredibly overwhelming. Despite these difficulties, I try to stay strong and continue fighting for my community.
It’s tough when you’re already feeling down, and mean messages just make things worse. I took this photo this morning as a reminder of my progress, something to look back on when I’m feeling stronger – and not because I’m seeking attention.
You know, life throws curveballs, and sometimes those feelings of failure, loneliness, or just plain negativity can really take over. It’s tough, but I always remind myself that each day is a fresh start, and tomorrow has the potential to be so much better. I’m so grateful for all your support, and I want to encourage everyone to spread a little kindness – it makes a huge difference!
This follows Ella’s revelation that a famous person used a hateful, transphobic slur against her when speaking about her privately.
Ella, who is from Bristol, stated that the celebrity – who is much more famous than she is – used a hurtful and offensive term while speaking to a friend of hers.
She said there are two well-known people she dislikes because she thinks they come across as insincere.
Someone was unkind to me, and they don’t realize I’m aware of it. This is the first time they’ll be hearing from me about it.

‘She referred to me as a t****y to one of my friends who then told me.’
She went on to discuss the situation on the Fed Up show, saying that this person seemed jealous of her, which she found surprising since the other person was much more famous and had a larger following.
She and another person in the industry seem insincere, and I don’t really like them. With me, you always know where you stand – I’m genuine and honest.
‘I’m 100% myself on TV and I’m the same as I am, like, off TV.’
She concluded: ‘Yeah, I’m definitely not a fan of them.’
Ella, who transitioned when she was 21, hasn’t revealed the identity of the celebrity she says made the offensive remark.
Daily Mail approached a representative for Ella for comment.
Last December, she publicly shared her personal journey of transitioning and sent a strong message to those who harass transgender people online.
Ella shared a series of old photos on Instagram, revealing she’s always identified as a girl and is now happy her appearance reflects her true self.
She posted childhood photos of herself, when she went by Evan, with her loving family. The pictures also showed her as a music enthusiast meeting stars like Rihanna and Alexandra Burke.
She expressed amazement at how far things had come, acknowledging that not everyone would grasp her experience. All she wanted, she said, was to be treated with respect, as she felt she was born with a gender that didn’t align with her identity.
Ella shared a heartfelt post, writing, ‘Just a little note to myself on a tough day: I’m thinking about how much I’ve overcome in life, and I’m incredibly proud of both myself and my son, Evan.’
In a world where kindness is always an option, remember you have limitless potential – never give up on your dreams. Embrace love and, most importantly, be true to yourself. I’ve always known myself as Ella.
I often amaze myself with how far I’ve come – through everything, I kept pushing forward, and even managed to smile along the way. All those experiences shaped me into the person I am today.

She continued, explaining that being transgender isn’t simply about medical procedures or physical appearance. It’s a journey of self-discovery, requiring courage and strength to live a genuine life.
Accepting and loving yourself completely, and extending that same kindness to others, regardless of their differences, is key.
Look, I get it – not everyone will understand my journey, and honestly, that’s okay. All I truly ask for is respect, regardless of whether you ‘get it’ or not. Simply put, I’m a woman who was assigned male at birth, and living authentically is everything to me.
It feels incredible to finally express who I truly am. For so long, I felt a disconnect between how I presented myself and how I felt inside, but now those two things finally align. It’s not about *becoming* a woman, it’s about *being* the woman I always knew I was.
Ella was paired with JJ Slater on the reality show Married At First Sight, but their relationship didn’t last.
The 32-year-old is now dating former glamour model Katie Price, 47.
Ella recently pointed out the irony of her ex calling her ‘crazy’ while he’s now dating Katie, the person Ella loves. She finds the situation amusing, questioning his logic.
Looking back, we just weren’t a good match, and we haven’t spoken since filming the show ended. We exchanged texts before the vow renewal ceremony, and it was clear he wasn’t interested in continuing a relationship.
I was listening to Paul C. Brunson’s podcast, and I shared that it took me a solid six to eight months to really move on from JJ. But I’m genuinely over it now, and I truly wish him and Katie all the best – if they’re happy, that’s what matters.
