Okay, so Square Enix just dropped a bomb on us! They’re making a new Dissidia FINAL FANTASY game for both Android and iOS! It was a total surprise announcement, and everyone’s already losing it waiting to find out the official title tomorrow. I’m super hyped, honestly!

For those who haven’t played it, Dissidia FINAL FANTASY is a well-known game that originally came out in 2008 for the PlayStation Portable. It was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the FINAL FANTASY series and features exciting, quick-paced fights between beloved heroes and memorable villains from throughout the franchise.

Square Enix’s new mobile game could bring back the fun crossover experiences fans loved, introducing them to a new generation. While details are limited at the moment, we’ll learn more on October 14th.

If you want to learn more, you can visit their teaser website, but it doesn’t have much on it right now besides some beautiful pictures. However, fans have noticed outlines that seem to show Cloud, recognizable by his signature spiky hair.
The Dissidia series evokes a lot of fond memories, and despite Square Enix recently closing down games like FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS and War Of The Visions FFBE, I’m optimistic about this new installment, particularly because it will feature Team Boss Battle Arena.
