Version 2.3 “Memories of Dreams Bygone” Pre-Download Available & Update Notice

Dear Proxies,

Version 2.3 is now available to download before it officially releases. If you’d like to get a head start, you can download some of the files now. This will help you jump into the game quicker once the update is finished being applied.

[Pre-Download Period]

[Pre-Download Details]

● PC

The pre-download file is about 8 GB.

● Mobile (Android and iOS)

The pre-download file is about 3 GB.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

The pre-download file is about 14 GB.

● Xbox Series X|S

The pre-download file is about 22 GB.

Because the download is quite large, please make sure you have enough free space on your device and use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid data charges.

※ The Voice Pack(s) installed on the client will affect the space required for the pre-download.

[How to Pre-Download]

● PC

So, I fired up the HoYoPlay Launcher, and thankfully, there was a “Pre-Download” button right next to where I usually click to launch the game. I just clicked it, and the game started downloading – easy peasy!

※ PC users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

● Mobile (Android and iOS)

To begin downloading the game’s files, launch the game and tap the “Pre-Download Resources” button located in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

If you’re using a mobile device, you won’t be able to play the game while it’s pre-downloading. Please make sure to start the download when you won’t need to play.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

Once Zenless Zone Zero is released, your device will automatically start downloading the game files if you have enough free storage space, but this will happen after a short delay.

※ PS5™ or PS5™ Pro users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

● Xbox Series X|S

Once Zenless Zone Zero is released, your device will automatically start downloading the game files if you have enough free storage space, but this will happen after a short delay.

You can also download Zenless Zone Zero ahead of time on Xbox by going to the home screen, selecting ‘My games & apps,’ then navigating to ‘Manage’ and ‘Updates’.

※ Xbox users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

The development team will be updating the game soon, and you won’t be able to log in during the maintenance. We’ll share more details about the update as soon as they’re available.

[Version Update Time]

2025/10/15 06:00 (UTC+8): We estimate this will take five hours.

We’ll share more information soon about what’s new in the next update, including gameplay changes, improvements, bug fixes, and any rewards we’re offering.

[Version Update Compensation]

Server Update Compensation: Polychrome ×300

To receive server update compensation, Proxies must reach Inter-Knot Level 4 before October 15, 2025, at 6:00 AM (UTC+8).

Once the update is finished, we’ll send you compensation through in-game mail. Please be sure to claim it before Version 2.3 ends.

[How to Update]

Okay, so when the update maintenance kicks off, we Proxies just need to follow the instructions *in* the game to get everything updated. Pretty straightforward!

● PC

Exit the game, restart, then select update.

● Android

After entering the game, follow the in-game pop-up instructions to complete the update.

● iOS

Go to the App Store and select update.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

From the PS5 home screen, select Zenless Zone Zero. Then, press and hold the Options button on your controller to check if any updates are available.

● Xbox Series X|S

To update Zenless Zone Zero on your Xbox, go to the dashboard, then select ‘My games & apps’. From there, choose ‘Manage’ and find Zenless Zone Zero on the ‘Updates’ page. Confirm the update when prompted.
