Among the many upcoming Marvel shows, fans are especially excited about the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. Currently, it’s scheduled to debut on Disney+ in early 2026, and anticipation is building. While fans are eager for a first look at the new season, it’s unknown when that will be released. However, good news for Daredevil fans – we already have an update regarding a potential Season 3!
New York Comic Con happened this weekend, and several cast members from the upcoming second season of *Born Again* were there to promote it. Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock, and Krysten Ritter, returning as Jessica Jones, both made appearances. Unfortunately, showrunner Dario Scardapane couldn’t attend the Marvel TV and Animation panel, but he shared on Instagram that he and the writing team are already busy developing the third season.
So sorry I couldn’t make it to New York Comic Con! I’m currently working hard on Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again. This writing team is the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! And don’t forget to check out Season 2 when you get a chance!
That’s fantastic news! We already knew a third season of *Daredevil* was in the works, but it wasn’t clear when filming would start. Now it seems the writers are starting to outline the story, and I’d love to see what they’re coming up with. It’s good to hear that a third season of *Born Again* is in the works. However, fans should be patient, as only a few people – like those at NYCC – have seen any footage from Season 2 yet. From what’s been revealed, it looks like the new season will be packed with exciting things.

Season two of Daredevil will reportedly feature the hero operating in secret as he tries to defeat Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin. Fisk ended the first season firmly in control as the mayor of New York, but a new rival, Mr. Charles (played by Matthew Lillard), will emerge to challenge him. Beloved characters like Karen Page will return, and even Foggy Nelson, despite his death, will appear. Bullseye is also expected to play a significant part in the new season.
Adding to the excitement, Season 2 of *Born Again* will connect to the *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* storyline. It’s great to see the more grounded, street-level side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe doing so well, and I’m eager to see what the creative team, led by Dario Scardapane, comes up with. Wishing them all the best as they start writing Season 3!
