Overwatch 2 is transitioning from Season 18 to Season 19, and with that comes free Battle Pass tier skips! Here’s a quick guide explaining how to unlock them and how they function.
Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops grant free Battle Pass tier skips
Okay, so I found out we can get some free Battle Pass tier skips in Overwatch 2! Basically, if I link my Battle.net and Twitch accounts, and then watch someone stream Overwatch 2 on Twitch – as long as they have Drops enabled – I can earn up to five tier skips. I’ve got until October 13th at 11:58 PM Pacific Time to do it, so I better get watching!
You can unlock free Battle Pass tier skips by watching Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch! Watch for two hours to get your first skip, then another two hours for a second, and so on. Remember to check your Twitch inventory to collect your rewards.

How Overwatch 2 tier skips work
Once you’ve claimed your free Overwatch 2 rewards from Twitch, simply open the game. These rewards will automatically advance your Season 18 Battle Pass, but only up to tier 80. If you’ve already reached tier 80, the rewards will be saved and applied to your Season 19 Battle Pass, which starts on October 14th.
What happens after you complete the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass?
As you progress beyond tier 80 in each Battle Pass season, you unlock special player titles. The maximum tier is 200, and for Overwatch 2 Season 18, those titles include Opening Act, Wildflower, Beach Bum, Fashion Icon, Headliner, Trendsetter, Sunscreen Stan, and Sweet Summer Child.
If you’re interested in unlocking any of these player titles, you only have a few days left to earn enough Battle Pass XP. You can get XP by playing matches and completing challenges – including daily, weekly, event, and lifetime goals.
