David Beckham joins Jackie Chan at a preseason NBA basketball game in China after wife Victoria’s Netflix documentary release

After the release of his wife Victoria’s new documentary on Netflix, David Beckham went to see an NBA preseason basketball game in Macao, China on Friday.

Fifty-year-old athlete Yao Ming recently attended a Phoenix Suns versus Brooklyn Nets game with Jackie Chan and former basketball star Jeremy Lin.

David arrived at the Venetian Arena wearing a brown leather jacket and black dress pants.

71-year-old Jackie was dressed in a white jacket and matching cargo pants, along with a black turtleneck sweater.

David had a whirlwind week, traveling to China right after the launch of his wife Victoria’s new documentary.

Over three episodes, the former Spice Girl opens up about her struggles with an eating disorder, which stemmed from body image issues. She also candidly shares, for the first time, her anxieties about the financial difficulties her fashion label faced after years of losing money.

David publicly thanked his wife, Victoria, for their son Brooklyn, even though they’ve been experiencing a difficult relationship with their eldest child and are currently estranged.

Honestly, I was so moved seeing David Beckham talk about Victoria! It wasn’t just about her being a fashion icon, but how she *showed* everyone her real life, her vulnerabilities, in that new documentary. It felt so brave and raw, and I’m glad he recognized that and spoke about it. It just makes me admire her even more, you know?

I was so thrilled to be there with Victoria on Wednesday for the premiere of her amazing new documentary series! It was wonderful seeing her surrounded by all her loved ones, and we all celebrated late into the night – it was a perfect evening!

Meanwhile, Brooklyn was over three thousand miles away in Beverly Hills, California, with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.

Even though David is still facing difficulties with his family and Brooklyn, he expressed gratitude to Victoria for their four children, whom he described as beautiful.

Oh my gosh, you guys, David just posted the *cutest* video on Instagram! It’s from Victoria’s after-party after the premiere, and they were dancing together! I seriously can’t stop watching it – they’re just so adorable! I’m obsessed!

They seemed deeply in love while dancing to Whitney Houston’s classic, “How Will I Know.”

He shared a heartfelt message with the post, expressing his love for Victoria Beckham. He thanked her for being his wife, their four children, her daily care, and for always supporting his vision.

He expressed his pride in their progress, both past and present, and commended their willingness to share the challenges they’ve overcome. He emphasized that they have every reason to feel proud of themselves.

The couple’s sons, 23-year-old Romeo and Cruz, along with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie, and their daughter Harper, joined them at the event, which took place at the Curzon Mayfair cinema in London.

Following the incredibly successful premiere, a luxurious after-party was held at a private club.

It was another touching moment, but also a reminder that life is different now for the Beckham family.

Just over two years ago, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz attended the premiere of David Beckham’s show, ‘Beckham,’ at this very location.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen families navigate tough times, and it’s always heartbreaking. Victoria and her husband have come to terms with the fact they won’t be seeing their eldest son anytime soon, which is incredibly difficult. It’s especially noticeable at family events – they truly miss him and his wife, Nicola. This all stemmed from a falling out that became very public when Nicola and their son didn’t attend David’s milestone 50th birthday, and the ripples are still being felt.

At the movie premiere, Victoria expressed her gratitude to Brooklyn and her other children for standing by her.

She expressed her gratitude, jokingly thanking her husband, David, for strongly encouraging – and essentially insisting – she participate.

Reflecting on everything, I’ve realized I’m strong enough, especially thinking about my family – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper, and even David. This experience has been a really emotional journey for me, forcing me to look back on everything I’ve been through.

This past year has involved a lot of therapy, which helped me understand myself much better. I’m so grateful for the support of my family – my mum, dad, brother, and sister. And I want to give a shout-out to the Spice Girls, who I absolutely love!

Victoria had a wonderful evening, even though Brooklyn wasn’t there. She wore one of her own designs to a small Spice Girls get-together, but Melanie Brown couldn’t make it as she was working in the US.

I was so happy to hear she sent Victoria flowers to wish her well for her event last night! It was lovely to see the Spice Girls showing their support too – Geri, Emma, and Mel were all there, which was really sweet.

As someone who understands the power of close friendships, I can tell you Victoria was absolutely thrilled the Spice Girls could all be together. She genuinely cherishes her time with them, and it clearly means the world to her.

These individuals played a significant role in her story and appear frequently in the documentary. It was unfortunate Mel B couldn’t participate, as she was unavailable, but everyone else was present without any conflict or disagreements.

Victoria’s family, including her parents Jackie and Tony Adams, and her sister Louise with her kids, were also at the party, which started with a champagne reception in the famous cinema.
