Brooke Burke, 54, shares her top 5 workout tricks to lose 5lbs in 5 weeks while AT HOME

Dancing With The Stars veteran Brooke Burke does not have to go far to take care of her figure.

Most days, the 54-year-old actress follows her wellness routine at her longtime Malibu home.

Brooke Burke, creator of the Brooke Burke Body fitness program, has five favorite activities she enjoys in her stunning backyard, which features a rose garden, pool, and a fun fort.

And she does them every day – often with one of her four children – to feel her very best.

She stays active and focuses on wellness by power walking, taking cold plunges, doing yoga, meditating in the garden, and using a PEMF pad.

The mother-of-four has told DailyMail.com that these hacks can help shed 5lbs in five weeks.

She loves spending autumn days relaxing on a special mat – not just any inexpensive one you’d find at a big box store.

The model explained to DailyMail.com that she uses a PEMF pad – a device that sends out electromagnetic pulses – for eight minutes, twice each day. She says it helps boost oxygen levels, improve blood flow, and speed up recovery, and it’s part of her self-care routine.

Such a mat can cost anywhere from $330 to $700.

And she also does cold plunges for extra fat burning.

Brooke explained that this practice reduces inflammation and helps burn fat. She admitted it’s challenging due to the extreme cold, but she aims to endure it for at least three minutes, five times a week.

Okay, let me tell you about a simple trick I swear by! It sounds a little quirky, but it really works for me. I take a walk around my neighborhood – and here’s the key – I consciously engage my core muscles, like I’m gently pulling my tummy in, and I add some light weights. It’s a fantastic way to boost your energy and work on your posture all at the same time. Honestly, it’s become a non-negotiable part of my daily routine!

She emphasized the importance of physical activity, explaining that taking time to go outside, exercise, and disconnect from daily tasks is truly valuable.

I’ve started wearing ankle and hand weights during my walks to increase the calorie burn. I also consciously engage my abdominal muscles by pulling my stomach in while I walk – it’s become a habit now, and I do it automatically.

She loves yoga, especially poses that strengthen her core, like the cobra and warrior poses. She explained, ‘Focusing on my core is really effective, especially after menopause, as that area needs extra attention.’

She has tons of other hacks.

A more recent biohack is using Castor Oil on her stomach.

Healthline reports that a treatment called ‘navel pulling’ uses Ayurvedic techniques, which involve applying oils to and around the belly button. People who practice navel pulling believe it can improve various aspects of health.

Another thing Brooke does is take NAD+.

I’ve been using Tru Niagen for six years. It’s a type of coenzyme that helps your body create more of a molecule called NAD+, which is naturally found in the body.

NAD+ molecule plays an important role in cellular metabolism.

Burke started biohacking two years ago.

The star shared their excitement about exploring ways to improve health and potentially extend lifespan through biohacking and new technologies, saying it feels fantastic.

Biohacking, sometimes called human augmentation or ‘do-it-yourself biology,’ involves using techniques like meditation and intermittent fasting to improve your health and well-being, as reported by Healthline.

And Brooke also talked her diet.

The fitness expert, known from the covers of Maxim and Playboy, shared that a diet rich in protein, longer periods of fasting, and foods that fight inflammation are all beneficial for health.
