The TEKKEN World Tour 2025 is nearing its final stages, and excitement is building among competitive players! At Evo France 2025, fans will get a first look at gameplay featuring Mairy Zo, the next downloadable character for TEKKEN 8.
Similar to other Evolution Championship Series events, France will host a Master+ Tekken World Tour 2025 qualifier. This is the top-tier competition, offering the most points towards qualifying for the world tour to the highest-ranking players.
I’m super hyped for Evo France 2025! All the best TEKKEN 8 players are going to be there battling it out for a chance to climb the global leaderboards. Seriously, we’re talking about legends like Arslan Ash, ATIF, Knee, JeonDDing, EDGE, and a ton of other amazing competitors. It’s going to be an epic showdown!

The roar of Armor King and Mairy Zo gameplay trailer
Evo France isn’t just about the competition – it’s also where Bandai Namco Entertainment will unveil the first gameplay trailer for Mairy Zo, just before the final top 8 players compete.
The next downloadable character for TEKKEN 8 is a woman from Madagascar. Her initial design sparked conversation among players, and the development team made significant changes to her appearance based on that feedback.
Tekken fans are excited for Armor King’s arrival in online matches! He’s expected to be a welcome addition for players who were frustrated with Season 2 and disappointed by the previous DLC character, Fahkumram. He’ll be available starting October 14th.
After Evo France 2025, only four spots will remain to qualify for the Master tier in TWT 2025. Of these remaining qualifiers, the Super Tournament 2025 in Korea is particularly exciting, given Korea’s reputation for incredibly strong TEKKEN players and competitions.
