Reba McEntire called out a recent AI hoax showing her at Dolly Parton’s ‘deathbed.’

Iggy Azalea, 70, posted a video on Instagram Thursday to show her support for Dolly Parton, 79, after a false photo of the country star appeared online.

Oh my gosh, Reba! She’s SO funny! I just saw what she said about that picture, and it cracked me up! Especially after Dolly finally addressed everything going on with her health – she’s amazing, telling everyone she ‘ain’t dead yet’! And the best part? Dolly joked that if she *was* on her way out, Reba wouldn’t be the one holding her hand! Can you believe it? They’re both queens, honestly. I’m obsessed with their friendship!

Reba expressed her frustration with AI, saying it’s causing a lot of confusion. She jokingly told Dolly Parton, ‘You tell them that this AI stuff has us doing wild things!’ She then shared the original photo and a fake image that was created of her holding a sonogram, adding, ‘You’re out there dying, and I’m here having a baby!’

She continued, “Let’s be realistic, we’re both clearly not the right age for that sort of thing.”

She reassured me she was praying for me, sharing, “I love you very much, and I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon.”

I absolutely loved Reba’s recent post! She wrote the sweetest thing about Dolly, saying she’s ‘too young to die, too old for babies’ – so funny! And then she added a laughing emoji and told Dolly she loves her and can’t wait to see her soon, with a heart! It just made my day seeing those two legends connect like that.

Dolly left a heart emoji in the comments of Reba’s post. 

In Dolly’s video the day prior, the Jolene singer also addressed the photo.

She laughed and said, ‘Have you seen that AI-generated image of Reba and me? It showed Reba at my bedside, and honestly, we both looked like we needed a coffin!’

Dolly joked, ‘I had a moment there, thinking the end was near. But if I were actually dying, I doubt Reba would be holding my hand. She’d probably just pop in for a visit beforehand.’

People started expressing concern for Dolly’s health this week when her sister requested prayers for her.

In her newest video, the country singer looked glamorous in a red fringed shirt, black pants, and peep-toe heels. She was seated on a stool in front of a green screen while filming a commercial.

The crooner put her fans’ fears to rest as she said in the video: ‘I ain’t dead yet!’

Dolly also asked, ‘Do I look sick to you?’

The movie star added that she does have some health ‘problems’ but they are being dealt with.

Fans were concerned last week when Dolly Parton’s sister, Freida, asked for prayers, saying Dolly was facing some health issues.

Dolly expressed her belief in prayer and faith, but let her fans know she doesn’t need them to pray for her.

The Tennessee athlete started a video message – recorded while filming a commercial for the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville – by acknowledging that ‘there’s been a lot of talk going around.’

Dolly said it was October 8th and, as everyone could see, she was doing fine. She wanted to reassure those who were worried, and thanked them for their prayers, explaining that as a religious person, she always welcomed them. Ultimately, she wanted everyone to know she was okay!

As I said before, I’m dealing with a few difficulties. When my husband, Carl, was ill – and it was a long illness – and after he passed away, I didn’t prioritize my own well-being. I neglected some things I should have handled, mostly minor things, and had to cancel some commitments so I could stay closer to home.

Dolly hasn’t revealed the details of the ‘few treatments’ she’s receiving, but she’s assured everyone it’s nothing major.

‘I’m not dying!’ she added. ‘There’s just a lot of rumors flying around.

I wanted you to hear it directly from me so you’d know I’m doing alright. I’m not finished yet – I believe God still has plans for me, and I’m still committed to working hard.

Earlier this week, Stella Parton, Dolly Parton’s sister, briefly mentioned Dolly’s undisclosed health issue while publicly supporting another sister, Freida.

Dolly recently worried fans by announcing she had to postpone six shows from her Las Vegas residency, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas.”

Stella, age 76, used X to publicly support Freida and explain that Dolly Parton has been dealing with kidney stones.

On Wednesday, she shared an update on X regarding her sister Dolly’s health. Dolly recently posted a video for her fans explaining she’s being treated for kidney stones.

My sister, Freida, worries about her siblings when they’re sick and asked for prayers for Dolly. As a sister to both of them, I believe it’s important to respect their privacy, just as I hope they would respect mine.

This news follows confirmation from Dolly Parton’s team that she is doing okay, after her family requested well wishes and prayers for the singer.

Olly Rowland, Freida’s manager in the UK, says her recent post has made Dolly’s health issues seem more serious than they are.

He explained: ‘It’s just the kidney stones, and the procedure she needs to resolve those.

‘It looks like her sister posted, and it got quite a bit blown out of proportion, weirdly.’

Freida recently posted on Facebook to clarify that she didn’t intend to worry anyone or suggest the situation was as bad as it seemed.

She hasn’t been feeling well lately, so I asked people to pray for her, as I truly believe in the power of prayer.

It was simply a younger sister asking for prayers for her older sister. We’re so grateful for everyone who sent positive thoughts and support – your kindness really helped.

Dolly has previously suffered from kidney stones both last month and back in 2015.

Frieda shared on Facebook Tuesday night that she spent the previous night praying for her sister, Dolly.

Dolly announced on September 28th that she’s delaying her Las Vegas shows, originally planned for December 4-13 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, until September 2026 because of health issues.

The actress announced on Instagram that she’s dealing with some health issues and will need to have several medical treatments.
