Celebrity Traitors fans have speculated that BBC bosses gave away a huge clue ahead of the series. 

The first episode revealed that comedian Alan Carr, singer Cat Burns, and presenter Jonathan Ross were the Traitors.

Sharp-eyed viewers think the show’s creators may have accidentally revealed who the Traitors were before the season began.

A Reddit user noticed something interesting: promotional photos for each contestant included a picture of that celebrity reflected in a fireplace.

Six of the celebrities featured a skull in their photos, and of those, Alan, Cat, and Jonathan were among them.

One fan theorized that the skulls might represent Traitors, and the three skulls displayed on the fireplace could foreshadow the introduction of more Traitors as the story progresses.

If the fan’s guess is right, Stephen Fry, Nick Mohammed, and Kate Garraway would be revealed as the Traitors in the series.

I just saw a post from Jake, a winner on the UK version of the show, referencing something from the BBC TikTok account.

‘It has every celebrity and their photographs on top of what looks to be a fireplace. 

It’s curious that six out of the nineteen players have a skull symbol, and three of those are the traitors revealed in tonight’s episode. Is this just chance, or will the remaining three skulls indicate future traitors?

Viewers questioned whether Alan could be a successful Traitor after he seemed to laugh when he was selected during the first round yesterday.

Alan burst out laughing when the TV host playfully tapped his shoulder, surprising everyone at the table who were all blindfolded.

The comedian admitted he’s worried about his chances of going undetected by his fellow celebrities.

He looked directly at the camera and confessed he struggles with excessive sweating and can’t keep things to himself. He admitted feeling incredibly anxious and burdened by this combination, saying it was like a heavy weight on his shoulders.

Alan jokingly claimed he was even more obvious than Linda Rands, a contestant from season three who famously made eye contact with the traitors while they were being addressed, which led the eventual winner, Jake Brown, to become suspicious of her.

People on X shared their thoughts about who would be revealed as a Traitor, and many believe Alan will be quickly discovered due to how he reacted to being selected.

People are predicting Alan Carr will be a very easily detected ‘Traitor’ on the show, but also that his participation will be highly entertaining and generate a lot of buzz.

Everyone’s guessing that Cat might be a Traitor, but they think she’ll fall apart under pressure. As for Alan Carr, people believe he doesn’t stand a chance and will likely vote for himself as the Traitor!

On the first episode of The Celebrity Traitors, singer Charlotte Church was one of the celebrities who had to perform the unsettling task of digging their own grave.

The celebrities involved in the event arrived at a graveyard and found a tombstone with their own name on it waiting for each of them.

Claudia Winkleman announced that the first six contestants to discover a shield hidden in their coffins would be safe from elimination in the first round.

Most of the competitors used shovels to dig their graves, but Charlotte, dressed in white, simply lay down in hers and dug it up with her hands.

Her strategy worked – she was among the first six players to find a shield, which protected her from being the first one eliminated.

But towards the end of the show, she stopped trying when the celebrities worked to increase the prize money by £15,000.
