Celebrity Traitors fans in uproar as Alan Carr murders his best friend Paloma Faith just two days into show – but admits he ‘feels terrible’

Viewers of The Traitors were shocked and upset when Alan Carr eliminated his close friend, Paloma Faith, during Thursday’s episode.

Comedian Alan, along with Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, had to secretly eliminate other players on the show, pretending it wasn’t happening.

Alan had to murder a faithful by using the pollen of a poison lily and touching someone’s face.

He waited for the right moment in the kitchen, then playfully told Paloma she had a stray hair on her face. As he said it, he gently touched her face to fix her hair.

I’m absolutely reeling! I honestly did *not* see Paloma Faith being the first one out on *The Traitors* – I’m devastated! And you know what? Jonathan Ross is spot on. Poor Alan Carr needs to find his inner steel, seriously! Alan Carr, honey, toughen up! I’m still processing everything, it’s just… shocking!

Are you saying the producers actually got Paloma Faith to appear, only for her real-life friend, Alan Carr, to ‘kill’ her character off within the first few days of filming?

Oh no! Alan Carr, what was that decision? I feel bad for Paloma – she didn’t seem like a real threat. #TheCelebrityTraitors

I enjoy Alan Carr’s work, but I wish his character hadn’t eliminated Paloma Faith from the competition. She’s a talented performer and would have been fantastic to see continue.

When Claudia asked Alan how he was feeling about Paloma’s departure, he replied that they would all miss her.

‘We will avenge her death!’, Jonathan added.

Alan explained that he and Paloma were close, and her murder has deeply affected everyone, including him. He’s been receiving a lot of concern from people checking in on him and acknowledging his relationship with Paloma.

Viewers questioned whether Alan could succeed as a Traitor after he seemed to laugh when he was selected during Tuesday’s first episode.

Alan burst out laughing when the TV host playfully tapped his shoulder, surprising him while everyone else at the table was blindfolded.

The comedian admitted he’s worried about his chances of going undetected by his fellow celebrities.

He looked directly at the camera and confessed he struggles with excessive sweating and keeping secrets. He expressed feeling incredibly anxious and burdened by this, saying it felt like a heavy weight on his shoulders.

Alan jokingly claimed he was even more obvious than Linda Rands, a contestant from season three who famously made eye contact with the traitors while they were being addressed, which led the eventual winner, Jake Brown, to become suspicious of her.

Oh my gosh, everyone on X is *already* talking about the Traitors picks, and it’s all about Alan! Seriously, people are convinced he’s going to get caught so fast because of how he reacted when he was selected. It’s like, the second he found out, everyone just *knew* his game was doomed. I’m so stressed for him already!

People are predicting Alan Carr will be a terrible player on the show ‘Traitor,’ saying he’s too easy to figure out. However, others believe his appearance will make for incredibly entertaining television.
