Clash of Clans is extending its Cosmic Curse season into October 2025 with a brand-new event called Cosmic Rock. This isn’t a quick, small-scale challenge; it’s a longer event that introduces a new troop, changes how you play the game, and adds powerful new equipment for the Minion Prince.

I’m so excited for the new event! It kicks off on October 10th, 2025 and lasts the whole month until October 31st. It’s great that it’s for Town Hall 6 players and up. From what I understand, we’ll be collecting something called Cosmic Shards – those are going to be the key to everything during the event!

You can trade these shards at the Trader Shop for things like equipment, ores, and decorations. A special event building will appear in your village where you can get some free shards to begin, and track how you’re doing in the event.

Event Progression

You can get shards by playing multiplayer, ranked, and revenge battles. When you attack, watch out for meteors! They’ll randomly destroy some of your opponent’s defenses before the battle starts. These destroyed defenses will drop shards, but they’ll also explode and can damage your troops. Keep in mind this meteor feature only happens in standard battles.

This event features the all-new Meteor Golem! You can unlock it by collecting just 100 shards. Once activated, the Golem breaks apart into two smaller meteorites that keep fighting for you. They deal area-of-effect damage and can even jump over obstacles.

Popular attack strategies like the Barcher, Ice Minion, and Lavaloon are back, with some minor tweaks to their stats to ensure fair gameplay.

Event Rewards

The Cosmic Rock event has great prizes for everyone! If you play for free, you can earn 3,100 Rock Medals, 5,000 Shiny Ore, 400 Glowy Ore, four Mighty Morsel Magic Snacks, and three Clan Castle Cakes.

To finish the main reward track, you’ll need 16,000 Cosmic Shards, and the bonus track requires 8,000 more for extra rewards. If you get the event pass, you’ll start with 1,000 Cosmic Shards, 5,500 Rock Medals, 600 Glowy Ore, and 80 Starry Ore, plus you’ll get even more loot and resources along the way.

This event includes special decorations! The premium decoration is the Cursed Tomb, and the Cosmic Lantern is available for free. Players can earn up to 3,750 medals just by playing, or increase that to 9,250 medals with the event pass.

New Passive Hero Equipment: Meteor Staff

The most exciting item in this event is the Meteor Staff, a powerful piece of equipment for the Minion Prince. This item automatically calls down meteors during combat, hitting nearby enemy defenses every few seconds. Once fully upgraded, each meteor can deal up to 850 damage.

During the event, you can earn Rock Medals and use them at the Trader Shop to buy the Meteor Staff and other favorites like the Fireball, Frozen Arrow, Electro Boots, and Giant Gauntlet.
