Kate Gosselin says she’s getting ‘extra love’ from boyfriend Steve Neild amid knee surgery recovery

Kate Gosselin is in good hands following her recent knee surgery.

She playfully shared on TikTok that her boyfriend, Steve Neild, who she recently identified, is being especially caring towards her.

On Wednesday, the 50-year-old reality TV star shared a glimpse of her recovery day on social media.

She shared a slideshow of photos showing the best parts of her day, and mentioned her boyfriend throughout.

She shared a picture of a breakfast tray with cereal and coffee, captioning it, ‘Breakfast made with extra love…by someone special!’

A mother of eight broke her leg last week when she was playfully attacked by her puppy. The puppy’s charge resulted in a fracture of the top of her shinbone.

On October 2nd, she announced online that she was home from the hospital after having surgery to repair her leg with plates and pins.

In September, Kate shared with her 280,000 TikTok followers that she’s been dating someone for just over a year.

She didn’t share her boyfriend’s name, saying he prefers to stay off of TikTok.

But her partner was later revealed to be Steve, her former bodyguard, by Page Six.

She was previously married to ex-husband Jon Gosselin from 1999 to 2009.

Jon and Kate Gosselin first became well-known through their TLC reality show, *Jon & Kate Plus 8*, which documented their family life with eight children. They have twin daughters, Mady and Cara, who are 25, and sextuplets – Collin, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel – who are now 21.

Kate found it difficult and painful to walk to the shower without her leg brace, describing the experience as nerve-wracking.

She later showed herself blowdrying her blonde hair while propped up in bed.

Kate allotted time to take her ‘regular vitamins’ and a hormone shot at 11:30am.

Then in the early evening she took ‘more vitamins, medicines, and supplements.’

She took a pain reliever at 5:30pm. Although she’s permitted to take two doses, she usually only takes one.

She had dinner – pizza and a tasty salad – at 6pm, and then relaxed with calming music starting at 7:30pm.

She shared a photo of herself relaxing on a pillow with her eyes closed, explaining she was feeling a bit stressed about the future.

She coped by relaxing with music in a pair of pink headphones, which she said ‘helped my anxiety.’
