Katie Price keeps a low-profile as she steps out with her new puppy – after defying resounding cries from animal charities to stop owning pets amid string of tragedies

Katie Price has been seen with a new dog, even though animal welfare groups have repeatedly asked that she not be allowed to own animals.

The 47-year-old former model shared a video on Snapchat on Monday featuring her dog, who she says stays close to her constantly. Just a few days later, she was spotted arriving at the Spotlight Theatre in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, with the same pet.

The celebrity was spotted dressed casually while on tour with Kerry Katona for a stage show, and her dog playfully nipped at her feet.

She was wearing a sweater that said ‘Soft Girl Energy’ and carried her phone and some pain medication, all while keeping a close watch on her newest child.

Kerry looked glamorous in a chic cardigan with bows, combined with wide-leg trousers and a Gucci handbag.

I’m just devastated to hear about Katie losing another little one. People are being so awful to her online, but honestly, she *adores* her cats! It breaks my heart. Poor Doris, her beautiful designer kitty, just had kittens, and sadly one little one didn’t make it – it couldn’t get a good latch to feed. It’s just so unfair that people are bringing up old things and blaming her when she clearly loves and cares for her babies. It’s just awful, truly awful.

This marked the eighth animal to die in her care.

In a recent Snapchat video, she first complained about being tired, saying she ‘needed’ a certain filter, and didn’t immediately mention the dog that was also visible.

She also shared that her young child stays close to her constantly, and she’s excited for him to meet their horse, Rookie, having already been introduced to all their other animals. She explained that this child will be a companion for Rookie during horse riding, walks, and all other activities.

A representative for Katie has been contacted by Daily Mail for comment.

She then posted the caption: ‘First time using a filter in ages.’

Katie adopted a Cocker Spaniel named Rookie in February, and many people questioned whether she was taking on another pet.

Last October, she took in Doris and two other hairless cats, even though animal welfare groups had asked authorities to prevent her from having any pets.

She responded to criticism about her pet ownership after animal rights group PETA offered her £5,000 to give up her animals.

Katie, a longtime animal lover who recently welcomed a new pet named Rookie to her family, has cared for many animals throughout her life.

People are questioning her animal care after several animals – including five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon – died while she was looking after them. Many of these deaths happened in traffic accidents close to her previous home in Sussex.

Katie believes a string of unfortunate events happened due to chance, and most occurred while she was traveling. To protect her pets, she’s now made her new garden secure.
