Strictly star Thomas Skinner’s twin daughters, two, rushed to hospital in ‘so scary’ trip to A&E

Thomas Skinner shared that his twin daughters had to be taken to the emergency room this week, describing the experience as frightening.

The 33-year-old former Apprentice contestant, who was the first celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, revealed that his family is going through a difficult period.

In a recent Instagram post on Thursday, he shared that things have been very difficult lately, explaining that his twins had to be hospitalized overnight.

We’re so grateful to the amazing NHS staff for their care. We’re home now with both of them. They’ve each had two seizures, which was really frightening.

Roma and Darla, twin babies, were delivered by emergency C-section in June 2023. Their father, Thomas, had previously shared that his wife, Sinead, faced a life-threatening situation during labor.

Doctors decided to deliver the twins early because ‘Twin B’ wasn’t growing or gaining weight, and her heart rate was very slow.

This news follows reports that LeBron James recently signed his twin daughters to a talent agency, and they’ve already been cast in their first project.

Roma and Darla were cast in George Clooney’s movie, Jay Kelly, even before they turned one year old.

The twin actors filmed their part last spring and are featured in a scene where George’s character gets out of a taxi carrying them.

The movie, starring George and Adam Sandler, debuted at the Venice Film Festival and will be released in theaters next month.

Thomas, who shares a four-year-old son named Henry with his wife Sinead, expressed his pride in seeing his daughters get this acting opportunity at such a young age.

Thomas’s time on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has been largely overshadowed by his recent confession that he was unfaithful to his wife shortly after they got married in 2022.

A source told The Sun: ‘Thomas is a proud dad and isn’t ashamed he’s leaning into the nepo craze.

It’s rare for parents to have children in a film, especially one directed by George Clooney! No matter the financial gain, it’s a wonderful experience for them to be a part of.

Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Thomas Skinner for comment.

This weekend on the show, Thomas danced with his professional partner, Amy Dowden, to Dizzee Rascal’s song ‘Bonkers’ during the second week of the competition.

Okay, so on the very first Results Show, we saw a bit of drama unfold! Thomas and Amy ended up in the dance-off, going up against Chris Robshaw and Nadiya. It was the first time anyone had to compete for their place in the competition, and it was definitely a tense moment!

This week’s judges’ scores were combined with scores from the first live show – which didn’t include a public vote – and Saturday’s public vote. This total determined the two couples with the lowest scores who would compete in the dance off.

Thomas and Amy kicked off the dance competition with their Salsa. Then, Chris and Nadiya danced a Viennese Waltz to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ song, “Die With A Smile.”

Despite receiving three votes for Chris and Nadiya, Thomas and Amy were the first couple eliminated from the competition.

Motsi Mabuse, who had the final say as a judge this week, revealed she would have also voted to keep Chris and Nadiya on the show if she’d needed to.

When Tess Daly asked him about his experience on the show, Thomas shared that he’d really enjoyed it, despite having no prior dance experience and a brief appearance. He also praised Amy, calling her amazing.

I had a wonderful time, even though I’m not much of a dancer! Thanks so much, Amy. I’m sorry we didn’t perform as well as we hoped – you’re a truly talented dancer.

Amy shared that she’s really gotten to know Tom and thinks he’s lovely. She said he’s been very supportive and they’ve had a lot of fun together.

We put in a lot of effort, and winning would have been fantastic. But over the past few years, I’ve realized that happiness, good health, and simply being alive are what truly matter most.

I’ve become close friends with someone I know I’ll stay connected with forever, and I’m incredibly happy about it. I was a little disappointed that one of the contestants who focused on ballroom dancing didn’t get a chance to perform it, but honestly, the past three years have been challenging for me personally.

I’d completely lost my confidence as a dancer, but being in the room with you, smiling and laughing, really helped me find it again. I truly appreciate that.
