Kate Hudson compares herself to Kylie Jenner as she shows off her ripped abs in a tiny bra

Kate Hudson joked that she was channeling her inner Kardashian when she posted a new selfie on Instagram Wednesday.

The 46-year-old actress from Almost Famous shared a natural, makeup-free photo of herself preparing for work with her stylists in a hotel room, while also managing tasks on her laptop.

In a recent photo, Hudson showcased her toned abs while wearing only sweatpants and a small bra.

Kylie Jenner, 28, recently shared a glamorous photo on Instagram showing her in a black bra and underwear, enjoying a glass of wine in a luxurious hotel room.

Hudson jokingly captioned the post: ‘Basically the same @kyliejenner’ 

Kylie hasn’t responded to the post yet, but Timothée Chalamet did get a ‘like’ on it from Kendall Jenner, Kylie’s older sister.

People immediately complimented Hudson, and her ‘Running Point’ co-star, Brenda Song, went so far as to say the mom-of-three looked better than Kylie.

Several fans also praised Hudson’s ‘natural beauty.’

This isn’t the first time Hudson has associated herself with the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

Last year, Kate Hudson, her famous mother Goldie Hawn, and the rest of their family starred in a holiday ad campaign for SKIMS, Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand.

Goldie Hawn’s family – including her children Oliver Hudson, Ryder Robinson, Bingham Bellamy, and Rani Hudson Fujikawa, along with Oliver’s wife Erinn Bartlett and their children Wilder, Bodhi, and Rio – all appeared in a holiday advertisement released in November 2024. Goldie’s fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, was also featured.

The family looked cheerful in a series of photos, all wearing coordinating pajamas. They were pictured enjoying desserts and playfully causing some trouble inside a large house.

Kate Hudson and Kim Kardashian both promoted the campaign to their many Instagram followers. Kardashian’s post simply read: ‘Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson & Family for SKIMS’.

The ad campaign received criticism, with many finding it insensitive and disconnected from current events. This was largely due to its extravagant display of wealth, especially considering it launched during the heated 2024 U.S. presidential election, which Donald Trump ultimately won.

Neither Kardashian or Hudson ever responded to the criticism surrounding the ad.

For over 75 years, the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation has honored leaders in the film industry with the Pioneer of the Year Award. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional community service and a strong commitment to charitable giving.

This award is one of the highest honors given in both the entertainment world and the world of charitable giving.

The Pioneer Dinner not only celebrated Hudson but also collected donations for the WRMPPF’s Pioneers Assistance Fund. This fund helps people working in movie distribution and theaters by offering financial support and counseling when they’re facing difficult times.

Hudson looked like a classic Hollywood star when she accepted her award, wearing a beautiful, fitted light blue gown that flared out like a mermaid’s tail.

The strapless number accentuated her tiny waist as she posed for photos on the red carpet.

She wore her hair in a timeless updo, showcasing its natural sandy blonde color, and completed the look with dazzling diamond jewelry.

The Fool’s Gold actress smiled with bright pink lipstick and accentuated her hazel eyes using smudged eyeliner and plenty of mascara.
