Ryan Seacrest has volunteered to marry Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at their upcoming wedding.
Ryan Seacrest, the host of American Idol, offered to help Taylor Swift and her fiancé, an NFL player, while speaking with Swift on his ‘On Air’ show on Tuesday.
Ryan Seacrest shared with the Grammy-winning singer that he’d recently become an ordained minister and had just officiated the wedding of his co-host, Tanya Reid.
The singer, who announced her engagement to a football player in August, responded with ‘That’s amazing!’ Then, she playfully asked Reid if she’d give Seacrest a positive review.
Following Reid’s enthusiastic praise, giving him a ’20 out of 10,’ Seacrest jokingly announced he’d recently completed a course allowing him to officiate weddings and was now available for the job.
Swift said she was honored and quickly added a warm, ‘That’s fantastic, you’re all amazing!’ to end the conversation.

Seacrest also inquired about Swift’s wedding date, but the singer avoided answering.
Oh my gosh, if anyone asks about the wedding, I just *lose* it! I could seriously talk about every single detail for ages, like a full hour, easily. It’s just… once I get going, I can’t stop! I’m totally obsessed and I just want to relive every moment, you know?
Honestly, it warms my heart to see your excitement – and believe me, I’m right there with you! It means the world to me that you’re sharing in this joy.
Ryan Seacrest then playfully asked Taylor Swift, referencing a suggestive song on her new album about her boyfriend, if Travis Kelce had been anxious while proposing.
The singer had previously shared a lot about Travis Kelce’s proposal and admitted to being very nervous when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but this time she kept things more private.
I share a lot of our relationship publicly, so when something significant happens, it feels like I’ll always have that memory to myself.
Because we both live very public lives and work in entertainment, we tend to be pretty easygoing with each other.
I’m working on finding ways to keep some things private between us, and thankfully, we already have a lot of those special moments. That particular moment will always be just for us.

Seacrest pressed on, asking Swift if she remembers everything that Kelce said during his proposal.
‘Oh I remember everything,’ she replied.
Seacrest’s co-host then asked Swift if she saw it coming, and whether her nails were done.
Everything was going well – we’d already recorded a podcast that day. Honestly, I felt good – my hair, makeup, and nails all looked great.
She explained that Kelce used the podcast appearance as a way to divert attention while secretly arranging a large setup in his backyard, calling him ‘very clever’.
The singer previously alluded to her relationship with the football player in her song “Wood” from her album, “The Life Of A Showgirl.” In the song, she praised his maturity and suggested he broadened her perspective.
Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, came out last week and has received very different reactions from critics. However, the singer says she’s embracing all the discussion and varied opinions.
In an interview with The Zane Lowe Show, she explained that she’s used to the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry. She said that any mention of her or her new album, even negative attention, is beneficial during its release week.
I really value everyone’s personal opinions about art – I don’t think anyone needs to justify how they feel. As performers, our job isn’t to dictate taste, but to reflect the world back to the audience.

Elsewhere in the interview, Swift discussed how her music is often reflective of her state of mind.
The singer explained that making an album is often a very personal and revealing experience. She believes the music she creates is directly influenced by what’s happening in her life, and listeners will connect with it based on their own experiences.
Taylor also reassured her fans that she is in the music business for the long-term.
She explained that this project is a permanent part of her artistic journey. She’s very focused on how her music will be remembered and is confident in the quality of her work. She believes everything she’s creating fits perfectly with the overall concept of ‘The Showgirl’.
