The Academy Award-winning actor, age 53, recently met up with Jennifer Lopez at a screening of their latest film, and during an interview with Access Hollywood, he shared his thoughts on a particular subject.

In a March interview with GQ, Affleck spoke about the experience of co-parenting his children with Jennifer Garner.
He shared that he feels fortunate to have a strong co-parenting relationship with Jennifer Garner, the mother of his children. They work together well and he describes her as wonderful.
Matt Damon also talked about how he and Jennifer Garner have dealt with being famous while remaining truthful with their children.
Affleck remembered that he and his ex-wife used to share a habit: whenever they saw something interesting displayed in a supermarket, they’d point it out to each other.
We’d point out that’s not always the case – if it were true, you’d have a lot of siblings, as many stories claim your mother was pregnant with multiple children.
Affleck stated he’s aware of what’s happening in his personal life, but more importantly, his children are also informed.

The Academy Award-winning actor complimented his former wife’s work in the film, telling Extra, ‘She’s fantastic in it.’
I’m thrilled for everyone to finally see the movie. I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out – it’s one of my best works yet. And I’m really happy to be here with you all tonight.
He further added, ‘She just was going to give it her all and she did. She worked enormously hard.
‘You get to see all of her many gifts. She’s somebody that grew up watching classic musicals.’
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck remarried in 2022, but their relationship didn’t last. Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years after their wedding, and the divorce was completed in January of this year.
Last month on CBS Sunday Morning, Lopez shared how Affleck used his production company, Artists Equity, and a partnership with Matt Damon to help fund the musical drama.
She explained that the movie simply wouldn’t exist without his help and the support of Artists Equity, and she’ll always be grateful for that.
They provided the funding. I explained to him that this was my dream role and I was eager to take it on, and he agreed to help me make it a reality.
The film *Kiss of the Spider Woman* also features performances by Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, Bruno Bichir, and Josefina Scaglione.
The musical – which was written and directed by Bill Condon – is set to hit theaters on October 10.
