This is the first time in a while that Mythic Prisms can be earned for free.
The fourth week of the Overwatch Anniversary event is here, bringing new challenges and prizes! This week, you can earn player icons, sprays, souvenirs, Battle Pass XP for Season 18, and even free Mythic Prisms by completing six different challenges. Here’s a complete list of the Week 4 challenges and what you’ll get for finishing them.
Overwatch Anniversary 2025 gives out free Mythic Prisms
Between October 7th and 14th, Overwatch 2 players have a chance to earn free rewards! By playing regular game modes, Junkenstein’s Laboratory, or Overwatch Classic, you can make progress towards earning 20 Mythic Prisms. These Prisms are a special in-game currency used to unlock unique mythic skins and customize them. Usually, you have to buy Prisms or earn them through the Battle Pass, which costs money. But for the first time in a while, you can earn them just by playing!
You can earn 20 Mythic Prisms by completing the “Hero For Years” challenge. This just means finishing 30 matches. Winning matches helps you progress faster – each win counts as two matches! If you play in Stadium mode, that’s even better, as those matches count as double progress. So, a single win in Stadium gives you the equivalent of four matches towards the challenge!
Overwatch Anniversary 2025 Week 4 challenges and rewards
For the remaining Overwatch Anniversary 2025 challenges, some ask you to play games in Junkenstein’s Laboratory, and another requires playing in Overwatch Classic. To earn a free loot box, you need to complete 10 matches while playing with a group.
