According to President Trump, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been convicted of crimes, reportedly reached out to the White House for help while facing legal issues.
On Monday, while facing questions about a possible pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump revealed he’s received many pardon requests. He also mentioned Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs by name.
He stated that Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Combs had asked him for a pardon. A spokesperson for Combs didn’t respond to requests for confirmation, but rumors about a possible pardon for the founder of Bad Boy Records and the former head of Cîroc have been circulating for months.
California
On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs to 50 months in federal prison, stating that holding perpetrators accountable for exploitation and violence against women is crucial for upholding respect for the law.
Sean Combs, who has also gone by the names Puffy, P. Diddy, and Love, was found guilty in July following his highly publicized federal trial. He was accused of sexually assaulting multiple women. While the jury convicted him on two charges related to prostitution, they acquitted him of the more severe accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Shortly after the trial concluded, CNN reported that Sean Combs’ lawyers contacted the Trump administration hoping to secure a pardon. Attorney Nicole Westmoreland stated at the time that they had begun discussions about a possible pardon. However, a few days later, the New York Post reported a different story, with Combs’ main lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, denying that any such conversations had taken place.
Earlier this year, Trump granted pardons to several people, including rapper NBA YoungBoy and the stars of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Rapper Combs received a prison sentence of over four years on Friday for transporting women across state lines for sex acts connected to drug use, which he called “freak-offs.” His lawyers have asked that he serve his time at the low-security Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, believing it will provide better opportunities for drug treatment, family visits, and rehabilitation, according to lawyer Teny Geragos.

Music
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial has concluded, and he’s been found guilty on two charges connected to prostitution. Here’s what 50 Cent, Cassie, and Dawn Richard have shared about the verdict.
While Sean “Diddy” Combs gets ready for prison, 50 Cent is openly celebrating and plans to capitalize on the situation. Over the weekend, 50 Cent joked about taking over a speaking event Combs had previously booked, suggesting he’s happy to fill in.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, also responded to Trump’s recent comments about pardons. He posted on Instagram, “You can’t expect a pardon if you’re talking like that!” and added, “LOL Get out of here.”
