The latest update to Clash of Clans, released in October 2025, has significantly changed how competitive players experience the game. The update includes a completely redesigned League system and weekly tournaments, and many players are still figuring out the new features.
This Clash of Clans update introduces a new “League Floor” system, created to improve fairness in matchmaking. We’ll explain how it works and detail the lowest league you can fall to at each Town Hall level.
Clash of Clans League Floors: All the details explained
Okay, so the ranking system got a cool update! Now, each Town Hall level has a ‘League Floor’ – basically, once you hit a certain rank, you’re safe and can’t fall any lower. It’s like a safety net. For example, if I’m a Town Hall 17, I’m guaranteed to stay at the Electro Titan League or above. And if I’m still working on my Town Hall 7, my base is the Skeleton League – I won’t drop below that, no matter what!

When you upgrade your Town Hall, you’ll automatically move to the appropriate League for your current level. This ensures you don’t lose all your progress, even if you have a few losses or stop playing for a while.
Here’s a quick look at the League Floors for each Town Hall:
| Town Hall Level | League Floor |
|---|---|
| TH7 | Skeleton League 1 |
| TH8 | Skeleton League 2 |
| TH9 | Skeleton League 3 |
| TH10 | Barbarian League 4 |
| TH11 | Barbarian League 6 |
| TH12 | Archer League 9 |
| TH13 | Wizard League 11 |
| TH14 | Valkyrie League 14 |
| TH15 | Witch League 17 |
| TH16 | Golem League 21 |
| TH17 | Electro Titan League 25 |
Our game hosts League Tournaments every week. You can register to compete any day from Monday to Friday, and the tournaments run from Tuesday to the following Monday. If you don’t participate one week, your League ranking won’t change.
If you don’t play for a while, your League ranking will start to decrease. You’ll drop one League level for each week you’re inactive, until you reach your lowest possible League. Once you’re at that floor, you won’t drop any further, but you’ll need to play regularly to improve your ranking again.
