Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Beginners Guide and Tips

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is a role-playing game (RPG) from Netmarble, and a reimagining of the original Seven Knights. The game focuses on strategic team building and using skills effectively in automatic, turn-based battles. This guide offers tips and tricks to help new players get started and enhance their gameplay.

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Overview

Let’s walk through how the game plays. It begins with a beautiful introductory sequence that also teaches you the controls. During battles, turns happen one after another, and those with the highest Speed go first, using their standard attacks.

As a player, I’ve found that battles work by each team member taking turns using their special skills – it’s usually after every two regular attacks or turns. If your team is faster overall, you get to go first! You can set things to automatically use skills when they’re ready, or you can choose when to use them yourself. And honestly, the skill animations are gorgeous – they really make the battles pop!

After the introductory Prologue, Act 1 starts with a more helpful tutorial. I found the user interface to be well-designed; swiping left accesses the Gallery and Codex, while swiping right opens the Adventure, Raids, Events, and other areas. Adventure mode is divided into multiple regions, and each region contains more than 10 stages.

If you prefer faster-paced action, you can reduce skill animation times to just four seconds. As you play, you’ll unlock more characters and can customize them with gear and upgrades. The game also lets you carefully prepare for battles and plan your strategy. A nice feature is the ability to set up and queue up to three skills in advance.

Introducing the Basics of Seven Knights Re:BIRTH

Heroes

This section lets you view all of your heroes and pets. You can use the filter to quickly find specific ones, and then check their details like appearance, stats, skills, and equipment.

You can also check your hero’s equipment status and easily change their gear using the Manage Equipment menu. I especially like the “Equip Recommended” feature, which automatically outfits them with the best gear.

Game Modes

You can find Adventure mode in the Battle lobby. Completing stages there lets you earn Gold, new heroes, and equipment to help you improve your progress. As you beat stages, you’ll also unlock other game modes: Raids become available after Adventure stage 4-10, Arena after 3-20, Infinite Tower after 2-20, and Power Up Dungeon after 1-20.

  • Raid: You can engage against three types of boss monsters, each requiring a different strategy, and you receive top-tier equipment as rewards.
  • Arena: You need a separate Defense Team for Arena, and it can also be attacked by another player, and based on the result of the battle, your score may change.
  • Power-Up Dungeons: You’ll find 5 types of these Dungeons, one for each element, and here, the level of difficulty increases the further you go.
  • Infinite Tower: Here, you win by defeating all enemies in battle, and you can unlock the next floor by clearing the current one.

Event

Here you’ll find details on all current events and their challenges, like Expeditions, Battle Passes, standard Events, and Relays. For example, Expeditions let you earn rewards by completing stages, and each event page has 15 missions to finish.

Mission

Here you can find your Daily and Repeat Missions. Completing these missions earns you Mission Points, which you can trade in for rewards from a special chest. Repeat Missions reward you for activities like improving your heroes, participating in raids, and fusing them together.

Upgrade Equipment

Here, you can improve your gear to boost your core stats. Choose from the items you’ve earned to upgrade them. Keep in mind that every three levels, an item will either get a stronger bonus or gain a new one.

Summon

The summoning feature, often called the Gacha, is where you obtain Heroes and Pets. You’ll gain access to Hero summoning early in the game, but you’ll need to complete Adventure Stage 3-5 before you can summon Pets.

You can start by using the Legendary Hero Adventurer Summon. Once you’ve used it as many times as allowed, you’re guaranteed to get a 4-star Legendary Hero. After that, the regular Hero Summon will become available.

Shop

The game has a Shop with three sections: Premium, Exchange, and General. The Premium Shop offers things like monthly subscriptions and special bundles. You can use Gold, Ruby, and Topaz to buy items in the Exchange Shop. Finally, the General Shop restocks its items every 12 hours.

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks

1. Don’t skip the Prologue

Don’t skip the Prologue! It’s important because it sets up the story and teaches you how the game works. You’ll learn about turn order, how skills are used, and get a good understanding of what the game is all about.

2. Try to quickly progress through the Adventure Mode

Since Adventure mode is key to getting started, your main goal should be to complete as many stages as possible. Finishing stages unlocks new features like Raids and the Summoning feature, plus you’ll earn Gold, new heroes, and other helpful rewards.

3. Power up your heroes and equipment frequently

To make stages easier and succeed in all game modes, it’s important to improve both your Heroes and your equipment. Don’t forget to rank up your Heroes to increase their power, but make sure they’re fully enhanced first.

4. Join Events and complete Missions for rewards

Don’t forget to check the Events tab for things like Expedition Events and Battle Pass missions – completing these can get you valuable rewards like Gold, Hero Tickets, Keys, and Summon Vouchers. Make sure to finish your Daily Missions too for similar prizes! Also, remember to collect your daily rewards from the Welcome Check-In.

5. Make sure to take advantage of all the game modes

Each game mode offers unique challenges and rewards, so it’s worth trying them all. Raids give you the best equipment, the Arena lets you battle other players, the Power Up Dungeon helps you improve your heroes, and the Infinite Tower provides extra entertainment.
