Ike Turner Jr., son of music legends Ike and Tina Turner, has passed away at the age of 67. He won a Grammy in 2007 for his work as a producer on his father’s blues album, “Risin’ With the Blues.”

Tina Turner passed away on Saturday at a hospital in Los Angeles due to kidney failure, according to her family representative, Jacqueline Bullock. Bullock shared that Turner had been dealing with heart problems for several years and recently suffered a stroke last month.

In a statement to the New York Post, Bullock shared the sad news of her cousin, Ike Turner Jr.’s, passing. She described him as being like a brother to her, as they were raised together in the same family home.
