Chris Robshaw’s wife Camilla Kerslake covers his modesty with a big rugby ball emoji as she posts racy shirtless snap – after he narrowly avoided being the first contestant to be voted off

Camilla Kerslake, wife of Strictly Come Dancing contestant Chris Robshaw, posted a revealing shirtless photo of him online shortly after he almost got eliminated during the show’s first episode on Sunday.

Camilla playfully encouraged people to vote for Chris by covering a revealing photo with a large rugby ball emoji and jokingly writing, ‘Sequins look good on you.’

The 39-year-old former rugby player danced the Samba with his professional partner, Nadiya Bychkova, on Saturday’s live show. They performed to EMF’s “Unbelievable” and received a score of just 14 points, placing them near the bottom of the leaderboard.

It was, instead, The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner and Amy Dowden who were first to leave.

Camilla, the 37-year-old British singer, shared a long post on Instagram, telling Chris she’ll always be his number one fan.

I wanted to reach out because I could tell you were really down on yourself last night. I know you’re being hard on yourself, and I just want to remind you how much you are loved.

‘Your boys are so proud of you.

I was so proud to watch you! You were really worried about dancing, but you pushed yourself anyway and totally conquered your fears. It was amazing to see you step outside what felt comfortable and just go for it!

If you’ve been struggling with self-doubt and a negative inner voice telling you that you’re not good enough, I want you to know it’s wrong. It’s time to ignore those thoughts and believe in yourself.

‘You are good enough. You are amazing. The boys are so proud of you their Daddy.

We are incredibly proud of you and so grateful for the wonderful example you set for your brothers. We love you very much.

Though I might sometimes be a bit overprotective, I’ll always be your number one fan. We’ll always see you as a champion.

She finished up teasing her husband: ‘Sequins look sexy on you. Forever in awe of you.

‘Craig, pipe down with your low scores. But I rate your hair game a 10/10.

Love you.’

Camilla recently shared a supportive message shortly after confessing she worries her outspokenness might jeopardize her husband, Chris Robshaw’s, position on Strictly Come Dancing and potentially put him in the bottom two.

Camilla ignited a fresh feud by hitting out at ‘experienced dancers’ on the scandal-plagued show.

She told the Daily Mail she’s worried her outspokenness might put her husband, Chris, in danger of being eliminated. She admitted she was very angry last week, feeling protective, and wanted to confront judge Craig Revel Horwood.

I feel very strongly about supporting my husband. I understand how much effort he’s putting in and how important this is to him, and that’s why I responded the way I did.

Some viewers have complained that certain contestants on the BBC show have an unfair edge, because West End performer Amber Davies and Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope both have backgrounds in dance training.

Camilla subtly revealed her opinion on the matter by responding to a comment from Love Island’s Amber Gill, who had posted a heartwarming message about her husband after his debut performance.

Posting snaps of Chris and Nadiya during their first dance, she captioned the post: ‘Proud forever.

Facing off against seasoned dancers with years of experience when you’re a complete beginner, and being thrown into the first competition of the season with one of the most challenging dances – it’s a tough situation.

Oh my gosh, you guys were incredible! Seriously, they really pushed you to your limits, and you and Nadiya absolutely *killed* it – I was completely blown away, and so was everyone else in the audience! I know there’s still room to grow for next week, but what you did was just astonishing. I can’t stop thinking about it!
