eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Over-the-Top Pass B pack review

So, eFootball 2026 just got a big update in October 2025, and they’ve added a new playstyle called ‘Link-Up’ – it’s called Over-the-Top Pass B. To mark the launch, they’ve dropped a new Epic pack! It’s got some awesome players like Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Mark van Bommel, Rodri, and Jérémy Doku. Like always, it’s a 200-player pack, so there’s a ton of cards to chase!

These cards might not change the game entirely, but each one brings something new and interesting for players who enjoy different strategies. They also have a visually appealing design, and many people are wondering if they’re worth trying out. Here’s my review with my honest opinion.

eFootball 2026 Over-the-Top Pass A Players

Ronaldinho Gaúcho

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst

This version of Ronaldinho, inspired by his time at Barcelona, lives up to the hype with fantastic stats and skills. He plays as smoothly as you’d imagine, and the Momentum Dribbling ability lets him effortlessly move past defenders, just like his previous special card.

Another benefit is that he has two top-tier winger skills. Acceleration Burst is particularly effective, allowing him to carry the ball closely and react quickly. His dribbling is among the best in the game, letting you achieve stats close to 95 and focus on developing other areas.

Overall, I’m very happy with his performance. He has good speed and acceleration, and is physically strong enough to hold possession. While he isn’t a natural goal scorer, a rating in the late 80s seems fair. I do think his passing ability should be a bit higher, which would improve his crossing.

It’s easy to overlook, but this player really needs the Double Touch skill – it’s a key addition. Also, be sure to include One Touch Pass, Pinpoint Crossing, and First Time Shot. Those four skills will significantly improve his performance.

Mark van Bommel

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Pass

This is the Legend version of the card, and Bommel seems like a good player to choose. He’s a bit like Pedri, but with more height. He’s a composed midfielder who excels at winning challenges, staying in position, and making quick, accurate passes.

What immediately stands out is his excellent overall rating. His speed, acceleration, and defensive stats are all remarkably high, consistently in the 80s. I think he’d be most effective as a defensive midfielder (DMF) – building him with a focus on passing would really maximize his ability to connect with teammates.

Rodri

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Pass and Long-Range Tackling

I’ve really enjoyed watching Rodri’s performances. He seamlessly switches between dictating play from deep and acting as a strong, defensive shield, excelling in both roles. He’s once again proving to be one of the most well-rounded defensive midfielders in football.

He’s a well-rounded player with excellent strength, positioning, and passing ability, making him a great fit for any team. His combination of accurate passing and ability to win the ball back with long-range tackles is particularly impressive, allowing him to contribute effectively on both offense and defense.

He has excellent stats across the board. His Defensive Awareness, ability to win the ball, and short passing accuracy are all very high. He’s also strong and balanced when challenged, and has the stamina to play a full game without getting tired.

He might not be the quickest player, but his smart positioning really compensates for it. If you’re using him as a defensive midfielder – and that’s where he shines, in my opinion – definitely add the Aerial Superiority, Sliding Tackle, and Heading skills to his build.

Jérémy Doku

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling

This player card focuses on speed and quick movements, featuring a dribbling style that makes them incredibly smooth with the ball. Think of a slightly less flashy Ronaldinho – similar stats, but without the extra burst of acceleration.

Doku is a real threat on the wing thanks to his incredible speed and dribbling skills. He’s so fast he can often simply run straight at defenders with the ball. While he’s decent at finishing and passing, his main strength lies in his pace and ability on the ball.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Over-the-Top Pass B players

The first Link-Up pack was excellent, and considering only three have been released, it remains a top choice. I believe it’s better than the second pack (Pass B). This impacts the overall rating of the second pack, and it’s also due to the players included in it.

Only two cards receive the boosted skill benefit, instead of the usual three. Plus, two specific cards stand out as top choices from a field of 200. Trying to get these two cards feels like a risky bet, so I wouldn’t recommend focusing on them.

Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
