Clash of Clans: How to beat the Cosmic Calamity Challenge

I’m so excited, the Cosmic Curse Clash-O-Ween season is officially here, and the first challenge is live! Clash of Clans is kicking things off with the Cosmic Calamity Challenge, and honestly, I can’t wait to jump in. It’s the usual – we destroy the base, get those three stars, and grab the rewards. So, let’s figure out how to do it!

Introducing the Cosmic Calamity Challenge in Clash of Clans

This challenge focuses on completing the base using only your Archer Queen in a controlled hero setup. The base design appears daunting, featuring strong defenses such as the Monolith, Infernos, and dragons spread throughout the layout, but it’s actually quite easy to defeat.

You’ll earn rewards just like you did in past challenges! This time, you’ll get additional resources, plus 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion.

How to beat the Cosmic Calamity Challenge in Clash of Clans

You’ll start your attack from the base’s lower side – it’s the only place you can deploy your Queen. First, focus your attack on the gold storage building located near the Monolith. As the Queen moves towards it, quickly tap the Builder Hut at the top of the screen to activate her special ability, and then immediately change her target back to the Monolith.

This particular strategy lets your Queen rapidly eliminate the Monolith, meaning the most challenging part is nearly finished. Once that’s done, select the single-target Inferno that’s close to the large statue. Destroying this Inferno will be key to unlocking your Super Bowlers.

Now, shift your attention to the lower part of the base. Prioritize attacking the single-target Inferno located there, and summon the Unicorn as soon as you can. You’ll likely see troops on the left flank start fighting automatically; you don’t need to manually control them, as they’ll handle that area themselves.

Instead, bring your Queen back to the gold storage area – the place where the attack began. Then, head towards the Wizard Tower to keep clearing a route. After the dragons are defeated, release your Super Yetis, and finally, unlock all of your remaining troops.

Take a close look and tap on one of the walls closer to the Infernos. This allows the Queen to create a route for the Yetis if your Dragons can’t reach. Once done, your Queen can easily move across and finish off any remaining enemies.
