Diddy’s former protégé Aubrey O’Day issues chilling ‘warning’ after rapper’s prison sentence

Aubrey O’Day, who was once mentored by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, shared a disturbing ‘warning’ following the rapper’s sentencing.

The day after the powerful music executive received a 50-month prison sentence and a $50,000 fine due to his conviction, O’Day used social media to post a serious message.

In July, Diddy was found guilty of two charges related to transporting people for the purpose of prostitution. However, the jury acquitted him of the more severe accusations, including racketeering and sex trafficking.

She had previously claimed that Diddy ‘groomed’ her and subjected her to sexual harassment while she was a contestant on his MTV show, Making the Band, in the early 2000s.

O’Day had previously stated that she felt very threatened by Diddy after confronting him, and because of this fear of getting back at her, she began carrying a butcher knife.

She had accused him of sexual harassment for years before he was arrested last September. 

Around the end of August, she shared with Decider that after she publicly questioned him, she genuinely feared for her safety, and physical danger became a reality for her.

‘Obviously, I’ve known about this behavior for a very long time,’ she said about the multiple sexual assault allegations brought forth by witnesses who testified in his federal case or have sued him in a number of ongoing civil lawsuits. 

For around twenty years, I’ve been telling people that this individual isn’t someone you can reliably work with. Unfortunately, my warnings were consistently ignored, as people didn’t want to acknowledge what I was saying.

She also asserted that the media received information – or was ‘fed’ stories – suggesting Diddy had returned publishing rights to his former Bad Boy artists. She believed this was done to improve his public image and portray him as a ‘great guy.’

While she kept voicing her opposition to him, she mentioned she began to observe what she considered ‘suspicious’ happenings around her.

‘I know how to look for certain things based off of certain things that I’ve had to learn in life, and there were unmarked cars around me for a bit that seemed suspicious,’ she continued. ‘And I don’t know how much danger there ever was, is or isn’t.’

You know, it was really unsettling to see two potential jurors dropped during the selection process. These were women who were initially named in the official charges, but for some reason, they never actually took the stand. It just made it clear to me that a lot was going on behind the scenes, with everyone maneuvering. And honestly, I’ve felt for a couple of years now that physical danger is a genuine concern in situations like this. I’ve been aware multiple times that it’s not just a theoretical risk – it’s real.
