Paloma Faith shared that she frequently met with a psychologist from the BBC during the production of the new series, The Celebrity Traitors.
A celebrity version of the popular BBC game show is back, with a fantastic cast! Paloma, 44, Stephen Fry, 68, Olympic diver Tom Daley, 31, and comedian Alan Carr, 49, are all competing at Ardross Castle in Scotland. They’re playing for the chance to win up to £100,000 for charity.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just read that The Sun on Sunday interviewed her! And she said – *she actually said* – that being on the show was way more intense than she thought it would be! I mean, I knew it would be a big deal with the launch on Wednesday, but to hear *she* felt that way… it just makes me even more obsessed! I’ve been counting down the days, and now knowing it really impacted her… I’m practically vibrating with excitement! Seriously, Wednesday needs to get here *now*!
She admitted: ‘It wasn’t filmed – I frequently visited them [social services]. Yes, it was a therapist.’
I realized I still had some unresolved issues from my childhood, things I thought I’d dealt with a long time ago. It brought up some things about myself that needed addressing.
It feels like relationships often come down to trust, don’t they? It’s really disturbing when you start to suspect that the people you care about might not be as honest as you thought – it’s as if everyone is being deceptive, and it’s difficult to make sense of it all.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the show challenges celebrities to identify the hidden traitors within their group. Meanwhile, the faithfuls need to collaborate to stay in the game and have a chance at winning a share of the prize money.
However, if a traitor remains undetected by the final, they walk away with the entire cash pot.
During a private conversation at Clays in London’s Soho, Paloma shared that all the contestants she’s talked to are concerned about how the show’s editing might portray them.
She acknowledged that how they appeared could range from ‘absolutely awful’ to ‘absolutely gorgeous’, and it all depended on the final edit of the footage.
The singer also shared that she was surprised by how emotionally challenging the filming process was. She initially thought she could approach it as a game, but soon understood just how intense it really was.
She explained that being inside the castle creates a sense of isolation, as the cast members aren’t allowed to communicate with anyone outside. It’s like a complete disconnect from the outside world.
Paloma shared that she did get emotional while filming, but also made real connections with some of the other participants. She specifically mentioned Niko Omilana and Ruth Codd, and said she’s continued to stay in touch with them.
The popular musician also complimented Claudia’s outfits this season, noting that the host had significantly improved her style.

This news follows a report in the Daily Mail stating that a second celebrity version of The Traitors is already confirmed, even before the first spin-off series has premiered. It’s described as a ‘done deal’ and is highly anticipated.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing some exciting news! It seems that even before the first season has aired, The Sun is reporting that another year of the celebrity spin-off of this popular BBC show is already confirmed – they’re saying it’s ‘in the bag’! That means we can expect even more fun and entertainment coming our way.
Executives are optimistic that the upcoming first season will be successful, as the previous non-professional season, which broadcast in January, garnered impressive viewership numbers of seven million viewers per episode.
Whether Faithful will stay true or someone will become a feared Traitor is yet to be determined, but considering who’s involved, we anticipate a lot of drama and excitement.
Host Claudia has made it clear that everyone will be treated equally, so the celebrities will definitely face the same challenging and unusual tasks as everyone else. We can expect them to be put through their paces with the usual set of fun, quirky challenges.
According to a source, The Celebrity Traitors is hitting its stride at a time when the reality competition format is incredibly popular. They described it as the biggest show on television worldwide, and highlighted the exceptional cast.
It’s widely understood that things could have gone terribly awry if this hadn’t become the biggest TV event of the year. Essentially, a major disaster was avoided.
The official statement says a formal renewal depends on how well the first season performs, but realistically, it’s almost certain to happen.
The Daily Mail has contacted the BBC for a comment.
The Celebrity Traitors starts on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One, with the second episode airing on Thursday. The series will run for five weeks.
