Six months after the passing of her husband, Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne attended the Billboard Power 100 event, where she was supported by her son, Jack, and appeared resilient.
The 73-year-old media personality shared a hug with her son while posing for pictures. Sharon looked stylish in a black pinstripe suit.
I noticed Jack, who’s 40, really took after his mom with his outfit! He went with a complete black look – a blazer, shirt, and trousers all in the same shade. It was a striking and coordinated choice, just like his mother’s style.
Sharon received the Visionary Award at a ceremony with Clive Davis, Michelle Anthony, and Leila Cobo, Billboard’s Executive Director.
In her speech, she shared that when she began her music career at just 15 years old, her goal wasn’t to collect awards.
I’ve always been driven by a desire to support exceptionally talented individuals and help them succeed, and that remains my core goal.
I’ve always been captivated by artists who possess a certain undeniable quality – that special something you can’t create through effort alone. It feels like a natural talent. While many people in the industry are skilled, only a few truly achieve greatness.
Sharon Osbourne skillfully guided the careers of her husband, Ozzy, as well as other popular bands like Motörhead and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Mariah Carey also attended the event, looking stunning in a black, long-sleeved dress.
Sharon and her family expressed their profound sadness following Ozzy’s death in July 2025 at the age of 76, saying no words could truly capture how they felt.
The family’s sorrow was clear as they participated in the public funeral for the musician. They were deeply moved by the heartfelt messages and memorials left by fans in Birmingham.
In December, Sharon also made the brave move of speaking out about Ozzy’s death for the first time.
She spoke to her longtime friend Piers Morgan on his YouTube show, Uncensored.
Sharon became emotional during the interview as she shared Ozzy’s last words and, for the first time, described the painful events of the day he passed away.
She told how on the fateful day he had woken at 4am and just 20 minutes later he was dead.
Sharon found him collapsed in their home gym while he was trying to work out early in the morning, and she screamed when she saw him. He was already unwell, having previously fought pneumonia and sepsis.
Hearing shouting, she rushed to the gym, as he typically spent as much as ninety minutes each day on the elliptical machine.
During the interview, Sharon recounted a heartbreaking experience: her partner suffered a heart attack. She rushed downstairs to find paramedics attempting to revive him, but she knew it was too late. She desperately told them to stop, saying he was already gone.
I immediately realized he was gone. They did everything they could, rushing him to the hospital by helicopter, but it was clear there was nothing more they could do. It was like they were saying, “He’s gone. Let him rest.”
Before going to the gym, he told Sharon he’d been running back and forth to the bathroom all night. Around 4:30 AM, he tried to wake her up, but she pointed out that he’d already woken her up.
Then she said he told her: ‘Kiss me. Hug me tight.’
He then went downstairs to the gym for his workout and within 20 minutes he was gone.
She also shared that Ozzy was aware his life was coming to an end. A doctor warned him that performing his last scheduled concert would likely be too much for him, but he was determined to do it anyway.
After her loss, she firmly stated she would never marry again, adding with tears in her eyes, ‘I’m done with marriage.’
