The last time Fnatic and NRG played against each other was at VALORANT Masters Tokyo 2023. Fnatic won decisively with a 2:0 score, and NRG suffered a particularly tough loss on Bind, ending with a 13:4 result. It was a confident victory for Fnatic, while NRG had a pretty disastrous performance on that map.
Yes, the team lineups have changed, but Boaster, Chronicle, and Alfajer are still playing for Fnatic. They were the champions in Tokyo! As for NRG, only s0m remains from the previous team – he rejoined after a brief pause between 2023 and 2024.
Revenge and a 1:9 comeback
Fnatic overcame a tough challenge at VALORANT Champions 2025. In the upper semifinal match, the Fnatic players defeated Paper Rex. This was a repeat of their exciting match from the Master Toronto grand final, and it proved to be one of the most thrilling games of the entire tournament.
- In game 3, PRX dominated with a nine-round streak. Fnatic won the pistols, and then couldn’t get even one point, even if the rounds were super close. They composed themselves and won 12 rounds in a row to enjoy their revenge with a 13:9.

NRG defeated two pretty strong teams in the Group Stage of VALORANT Champions 2025.

- DRX, who were in the top 6 at Masters Bangkok
Having overcome several of the top contenders, NRG was placed in the tournament bracket alongside the most surprisingly successful teams of the event.
- In the opening Playoffs match, NRG ended GIANTX’s Cinderella story.
- The same goes for MIBR. They were sent to the lower brackets by NRG after the semifinal.
