Oh my gosh, you guys, I just *have* to talk about Rita Ora! She looked absolutely incredible last night in Paris. I mean, seriously, she was at Le Costes – everyone goes there during Fashion Week, right? – and she was wearing this stunning white dress. It was so daring – a really plunging neckline! – and she just completely owned it. I’ve been following her for ages, and she *always* manages to turn heads. I’m obsessed with her style!
The singer of “Let You Love Me”, who is 34 years old, looked amazing while out and about wearing a fitted, knee-length dress. The dress had a see-through panel running down the front.
She appeared even taller and more elegant when she put on a pair of high, white slip-on heels.
To complete her look, the singer tried to stay unnoticed as she moved around the event space, sporting black, oval-shaped sunglasses.
As I watched Rita leave the restaurant, I noticed she quickly bundled up against the cold. She added a large, black trench coat over her already glamorous outfit – a practical move, but she still looked amazing! It was a bit of a contrast, really, seeing that elegant look paired with something so warm and functional. Definitely a smart choice for the weather.
I’m hearing she’s out and about in the capital city now, which is great! It comes on the heels of a pretty tough situation with her neighbors. As you may recall, there was a dispute over building a gym – some called it an ‘eyesore‘ – in the sunken garden of her £7.5million mansion. But she won that battle, so it’s lovely to see her enjoying some time out!
Her proposals caused strong reactions from residents, who worried the modern fitness center would disrupt their quiet way of life. Many locals expressed concerns that it would fundamentally change the peaceful atmosphere they valued.
People claimed Rita damaged the area’s natural environment to construct a new gym, and they worried the large glass doors would turn it into something resembling a brightly lit and noisy showpiece. They accused Rita of destroying ‘the natural ecology in order to build a modern gym’ and feared the glazed bifold doors would mean it would ‘function more as a light and sound-emitting pavilion’.
An entire nearby block of flats jointly lodged a complaint opposing the build.
The residents protested, stating: ‘People selected this neighborhood because it was peaceful, and they shouldn’t have to deal with bright lights, loud noises, or a reduction in their privacy.’
They also pointed out that while soundproofing is noted, the presence of bifold doors implies that music and voices might be audible at any time of day. They stated: ‘Although acoustic insulation is mentioned, the inclusion of bifold doors suggests that music and voice projection could occur at any hour.’
The property next door has a clear rule against big parties or get-togethers. This rule was put in place specifically to help maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for everyone living nearby.
This proposal goes against our common agreement and could lead to disagreements, problems, and potentially even legal issues. It risks creating conflict, complaints, and could escalate to legal disputes.
They further stated: ‘This proposal seems to have been written – whether intentionally or not – to benefit the owner while largely ignoring the negative consequences for nearby neighbours.’
Residents of her street and the two streets next to it collectively wrote a strong objection, calling the planned building an ‘eyesore’.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what the current owner said! It’s just… ironic, honestly. They’ve publicly stated they wanted to preserve and honour the heritage of this sunken garden – can you imagine?! They call it a sanctuary, and not just for butterflies, but for so many birds! I’ve read reports of robins, herons, and even – get this – peacocks being sighted there over the years! It’s absolutely magical, and they claim they want to keep it that way!
Building a modern gym and destroying the natural environment of this area would completely clash with the historic character and peaceful atmosphere of this listed property.
It also featured a link to a YouTube video where Rita enthusiastically described her garden as her ‘green piece of secret heaven’.
‘We usually put down a small rug or blanket, and I really enjoy sitting here and enjoying the scent of the flowers. That’s pretty much how we spend our time,’ the Masked Singer judge explained.
