Dua Lipa brushes off shoulder injury concerns as she takes to the stage for her second show in Dallas after ‘getting the all-clear from a radiologist to continue her US tour’

Dua Lipa performed in Dallas for the second time on Thursday evening, after it was reported she had received medical care for a shoulder injury.

The performer, who is 30 years old, has been touring the US with her Radical Optimism Tour. However, sources shared on Thursday that she visited a radiologist after fans noticed dark bruising on her shoulder and expressed their concern.

Dua captivated the audience at the American Airlines Center with a series of stunning outfits. She effortlessly transitioned between looks, starting with a striking cream faux fur coat and then changing into a shimmering gold metallic bodysuit.

The artist behind the hit song “Physical” also shared the stage with American singer-songwriter Leon Bridges, and together they performed a rendition of the song “Beyond”.

Sources say Dua has been given the go-ahead to continue her tour following an injury she sustained during some personal time off from performing.

According to an insider, Dua will receive physiotherapy to make a complete recovery after the accident, and the tour is expected to continue smoothly. They said it will ‘carry on without a hitch’.

According to a source who spoke with The Sun: ‘The injury occurred while Dua was relaxing between performances. It was quite painful, but thankfully, a radiologist examined her and confirmed there were no serious issues – she’s been given a clean bill of health.’

‘The tour will still be going ahead as planned. It’s just one of those things.’

Dua is heading to California to perform a series of concerts at the Kia Forum, starting on Saturday, October 4.

In addition to dealing with an injury, it’s now been reported that Dua Lipa has ended her working relationship with her agent. This came after he actively tried to prevent the pro-Palestinian rap group Kneecap from performing at Glastonbury, alleging that their performances promoted anti-Semitism.

David Levy, who has represented Dua for a long time, was the first to sign a letter asking Michael Eavis, the founder of the festival, and his daughter Emily to remove the Belfast rappers from the lineup. The rappers have been accused of supporting Hezbollah, which is considered a terrorist organization.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how trust is vital in every industry, and this situation is a perfect example of that being broken. An email – signed by several prominent people in the Jewish music world – was intended to be private and confidential. Unfortunately, it was leaked, and that meant the artists these leaders represent found out about their actions. It’s a really tough spot when confidentiality is breached like that, and it definitely impacts relationships. Trust is everything, and once it’s lost, it’s hard to regain.

The news led prominent Palestinian advocate Dua and the band Massive Attack to stop collaborating with Levy because of his position on the issue.

A source within the music industry revealed to The Mail on Sunday: ‘Dua Lipa ensured, through her representatives, that David Levy was no longer involved in her projects. She is a vocal supporter of Palestine, and his views don’t match hers.’

She believes he supports Israel’s actions in Gaza and the harsh treatment of Palestinians, and this was plainly evident in the letter he signed and sent to Michael Eavis.

They also mentioned she remained with her original talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, though she’s now working with a new agent at the company.

Even though Levy objected, Kneecap did perform at Glastonbury. The police received some complaints regarding the performance, but ultimately chose not to pursue the matter any further.

At that time, a member of the group, Liam Og O hAnnaidh – more commonly known as Mo Chara – was released on bail while facing a terrorism charge. This followed an incident in November of the previous year where he reportedly displayed a Hezbollah flag at a concert.

Liam denies the charges and his case has been adjourned to the end of this month.

The group faced accusations of showing support for Hezbollah and Hamas while performing at the US festival Coachella in April.

Dua Lipa has consistently voiced her support for Palestine and strongly criticized what she called the ‘Israeli genocide’ in Gaza. She shared these views in a heartfelt Instagram post last May.

As a long-time admirer, I was deeply moved to see her stand with fellow artists to protest UK complicity in Gaza. It meant a lot to me. And it’s important to note that she also expressed her sincere condolences for the Israeli lives lost on October 7, showing a real commitment to acknowledging all suffering. It’s a complex situation, and I appreciated her balanced approach.
