Lori Loughlin has split from husband Mossimo Giannulli after a 28 year marriage.
Lori Loughlin and her husband are currently separated and have decided to take some time apart in their marriage. However, there are no divorce or legal actions being pursued right now,” said Elizabeth Much, Loughlin’s representative, in a statement to People magazine.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back.
This happened after the celebrity was spotted hugging Anne Heche’s ex-partner, James Tupper-who also used to be her colleague-outside a club in Los Angeles called the Bird Streets Club.
In May 2020, Loughlin and her husband, Giannulli, admitted guilt related to conspiracy charges stemming from the college admissions bribery scandal.
As a longtime follower of the case, I was shocked to learn that Loughlin was sentenced to two months in jail. On top of that, she also has to pay a $150,000 fine and complete 150 hours of community service after admitting her guilt. It’s a significant consequence, and I’m sure it’s been a difficult time for everyone involved. You can find more details about the sentencing here.

She started serving her sentence at a federal prison in Dublin, California in October 2020 and was released the following December.
Giannulli, Loughlin’s husband, was sentenced to five months in prison, along with a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.
He started serving his prison sentence in November 2020. Then, in April 2021, roughly a month before he was scheduled to be released, he was moved to home confinement.
The famous couple was caught up in Operation Varsity Blues – a large national scandal that implicated 33 parents.
At the center of the case was Loughlin and Giannulli’s youngest daughter, influencer Olivia Jade.
In YouTube videos shared before the controversy began, Olivia explained to her followers that she wasn’t particularly focused on academics. She was more excited about the social aspects of college as she got ready to start her studies. She admitted she didn’t “really care about school”, prioritizing the social life she anticipated.
The social media personality offered her audience guidance on the university application process – only a few days before authorities arrested her parents due to their connection with the scheme.

She has apologized for what she said and came back to using social media after taking a short break when the controversy became public in March 2019.
She previously claimed to be a ‘straight A student’ and said she ‘worked really hard’ throughout high school. This was before her parents reportedly paid $500,000 to secure her admission to the University of Southern California.
Regarding her career, Loughlin faced setbacks due to her legal issues, which prevented her from participating in the fifth season of Fuller House. She eventually returned to television late last year with a guest appearance in a two-part Christmas episode of the series When Hope Calls.
She made her first public appearance on a red carpet this summer after the controversy, attending the DesignCare 2022 Gala at RJ’s Place in June. The event supported the HollyRod Foundation.
