Spider-Man and Superman are headlining two new DC and Marvel Comics crossovers arriving in 2026.
I still remember being blown away when Spider-Man and Superman first teamed up! It happened way back in 1976 with Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man: The Battle of the Century – Gerry Conway wrote the story, and Ross Andru did the incredible artwork. And it wasn’t a one-time thing! They followed it up with another series, simply called Superman and Spider-Man, in 1981. It was amazing to see those two together!
What do we know about the Spider-Man & Superman crossovers?
DC Comics and Marvel are teaming up again to create new adventures featuring both Peter Parker and Clark Kent, according to IGN. The first issue, Superman/Spider-Man #1, will be published by DC in March 2026. Then, the following month, Marvel will release Spider-Man/Superman #1. As of now, the writers and artists working on these crossovers haven’t been officially announced.
Before those new releases, DC Comics will also be reprinting two classic Treasury Edition crossovers featuring Superman and Spider-Man. The first, Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1, will be available in January, followed by DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1 in February, according to the article.
It’s likely that the upcoming Spider-Man/Superman comics will include additional team-ups between characters from Marvel and DC, similar to what we saw in Deadpool/Batman #1. That issue came out last month from Marvel Comics, and Batman/Deadpool #1 is scheduled to be released next month by DC.
