JoJo Siwa has a fan thrown out of her Glasgow show for ‘making fun of her’ after being subjected to cruel memes about her hairline

JoJo Siwa had a fan thrown out of her show in Glasgow on Wednesday night for ‘making fun of her.’

The 22-year-old singer, currently performing her Infinity Heart Tour in the UK, stopped the show when she noticed something happening in the crowd.

In videos posted online, a fan was seen wearing a hoodie featuring JoJo’s face. The design cleverly shaped the image like an egg.

As a longtime fan, it really broke my heart when JoJo shared in 2022 what she went through while filming Dance Moms. She revealed that the stress of being on the show as a child actually caused her to lose hair and develop a bald spot. It was awful to see, and even worse to learn that people online were making cruel memes about her hairline. It just shows how damaging that kind of pressure can be, especially for someone so young.

While speaking on stage, she exclaimed: ‘That hoodie teasing me? Absolutely not! I actually appreciate it! But we can only make space for endless love and positivity here, don’t you think?’

‘Not in my house, baby. We got no room for that. We got no room for that!’

It is believed that the fan wasn’t aware of the memes.

Oh my god, you guys, so JoJo just *had* to explain herself again! Everyone was questioning her sexuality, and she was like, “I’m not straight!” I mean, it’s amazing she’s so open! She basically said that even though she’s with Chris Hughes now, that doesn’t erase all the times she’s been with women before. It’s like, yes! She’s so valid and doesn’t need to pick a label! I’m just so proud of her for speaking her truth, even when people are trying to box her in.

The Dance Moms star had previously shared that she is pansexual and was in several public relationships with women. More recently, she developed a connection with Love Island star Chris, 32, while they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in April. Now, she identifies as queer.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m *so* happy for them, they’re seriously the cutest! But it breaks my heart to hear that JoJo has been getting an ‘extreme amount of hate‘ from the LGBTQ+ community. I mean, she’s found love, and it’s just awful that some people are upset she’s in a hetero romance. It’s like, can’t everyone just be happy for them? I just don’t get it! It’s so unfair that she’s dealing with all that negativity when they’re clearly so in love and things are going so well!

In a recent radio conversation, the dancer openly discussed how she identifies her sexuality and responded to claims that she’s now straight simply because she is currently in a relationship with a man.

During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Smith Sisters Live, she revealed: ‘People around me aren’t aware of just how much negativity I’ve faced from people within the community.’

The fact that I’m currently in a relationship with someone of the opposite gender doesn’t define my sexual orientation. And honestly, even if I were to say, “yes, I’m straight,” that’s perfectly fine. So what? It’s wonderful! I would still be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.

JoJo then explained: ‘I don’t identify as straight. I’m in love with a man, but that doesn’t invalidate my experiences in the past.’

I experienced falling in love for the first time with a woman, who also happened to be my closest friend. We shared a truly wonderful connection. I’ve since had relationships with other women, a non-binary person, and currently, I’m in a relationship with a man.

Oh my gosh, I just *have* to tell everyone! He’s completely changed my life. I’ve honestly never felt a connection like this with anyone, ever. It’s like, no one could possibly understand how he makes me feel. It’s just… meant to be, you know? Falling for him is seriously the best thing that’s ever happened to me! I truly believe it was destiny.

The singer of “Karma” also shared that Chris has consistently supported her and her identity, remembering when he quickly came to her defence inside the CBB house after Mickey Rourke made several homophobic remarks towards her.

JoJo shared: ‘Right from the start of our relationship, he told me, “You’re free to be yourself. I love you just as you are, and I wouldn’t want you to change. I simply love you.”

Honestly, I really noticed on the second episode of Big Brother that he was the only one who immediately came to my defense. He really had my back right away.

That really reveals his character as a straight white man, demonstrating the type of person he is to support the young, 22-year-old queer individual in the house.

That was a truly lovely moment. It’s not something we consciously talk about, it’s just a natural part of our relationship. He’s very protective of me.
