On Thursday, Instagram user Sophia Peschisolido, daughter of Karren Brady, shared that she underwent an emergency C-section while detailing her challenging birth experience.
The social media personality, who is 28 years old, recently had a baby boy named George with her partner, Frankie Makin. The new arrival came last week. It’s her second child.
Sophia, a mother to 19-month-old Leo, shared that while she’s recovering well, she’s found it difficult not being able to lift her children.
She clarified, ‘Honestly, I don’t think the age difference is as difficult as people assume! The only real challenge for me was getting used to being away from Leo overnight. I’d never spent a night away from him before.’
After having an emergency C-section, I wasn’t able to hold or pick up my first baby, and he didn’t understand why his mama couldn’t. That really made me sad.
He’s adjusted remarkably well, and he already adores George, so things have been good so far. However, George is only a week old, so it’s hard to say how it will go as time passes.
I’m really happy about this because the kids will be close in age and can grow up playing and learning together. Leo is already a wonderful big brother, so I’m feeling optimistic about what the future brings!!
‘I think there’s never a right time you just gotta go for it and hope for the best.’
In another post, Sophia admitted she is recovering quickly following her difficult birth.
She shared: ‘Giving birth wasn’t easy, but I’m recovering quite quickly, and I’m very grateful for that.’
She shared a natural photo of her family with her birth announcement, writing: ‘Family of 4 complete‘ as her new baby slept soundly while wearing a cute, striped hat.
Karren previously spoke about being a grandmother on The Apprentice You’re Hired earlier this year.
She said: ‘He is the most beautiful little boy in the world and my daughter is a natural mother.
Both mother and baby are thriving, and I couldn’t be prouder of her, her family, and her husband. Everyone is doing really well, which is wonderful.
Sophia recently posted a close-up photo of her newborn son – they haven’t revealed his name yet – peacefully resting on her chest soon after he was born.
In another photo, her fiancé, Frankie, was spotted bringing their baby son home. He was walking down the hospital hallways with the baby in a pram as they left the hospital.

I was so thrilled when Sophia and Frankie announced their engagement back in 2022! They shared the most beautiful photos of the proposal – it happened on a beach in Mykonos, Greece, and it looked incredibly romantic. Seriously, the pictures were stunning!
