Major blow for Lara Worthington as she lands on the WORST-DRESSED list at Paris Fashion Week

She’s the Australian model known for often turning heads with her bold fashion choices.

And Lara Worthington did just that again this week, albeit for all the wrong reasons.

The 38-year-old stepped out at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

She looked stunning in a vibrant blue Louis Vuitton mini dress. The dress was particularly noticeable for its unique pockets, which were placed higher up on the torso, above her waist.

The dress was flowy and comfortable, with a pleated waist defined by a blue canvas belt. A unique buckle was positioned at the collarbone, adding an interesting detail.

Lara showcased her slender and fit legs, finishing the outfit with black leather wedge boots.

With her blonde locks tucked behind her ears, Lara accessorised with chunky silver earrings.

Lara arrived at the event without her husband, Sam Worthington, but she appeared cheerful, enthusiastically posing for photos in front of the famous Louvre museum.

However, the Daily Mail criticized Lara’s outfit, including it on their ‘worst dressed’ list and calling the style a ‘frumpy’ fashion mistake.

We described how Ms. Worthington walked onto the main area wearing a strange blue dress. It had buckles around her collarbones and waist, and she was wearing heavy black ankle boots.

The dress, featuring long, bulky sleeves and a low, ruffled waistline, failed to highlight Lara’s beautiful shape. It appeared rather unflattering when worn with a pair of black wedge boots.

She shared the list with impressive company, including artists like FKA Twigs, Hailey Bieber, and model Cara Delevingne.

However, Lara would more than likely be unfazed by the lacklustre critique.

She’s shared before that she isn’t concerned with what people think of her often daring fashion choices. She doesn’t worry about others’ opinions when it comes to her bold style.

In a 2022 interview with Stellar, the blonde beauty shared that she doesn’t regret any of her bolder fashion choices.

‘I wear whatever the hell I want and I don’t care,’ Lara said.

Even though she often acted rebellious, the reality TV personality confessed she hadn’t always made the best fashion choices in the past.

‘I’ve gone through some tough moments, that’s for sure,’ she shared, then continued: ‘But you know what? You grow from those experiences. That’s what matters to me. As long as we’re all learning and growing.’

This follows photos of Lara showcasing a key fashion trend at the Fidan Novruzova Spring/Summer 2026 runway show earlier this week.

She perfectly embodied style while sitting in the front row at Galerie Molière, even sacrificing a favorite item for the sake of fashion.

Lara looked stylish and relaxed in a maroon leather bomber jacket, which she wore zipped up, as she met with Dana Boulos, a director based in Los Angeles.

She combined the eye-catching item with grey pinstripe pants that sat low on her hips, highlighting her slim shape.

The model styled her classic bob haircut and chose a natural makeup style to really make her striking electric blue eyes stand out.

Ever attentive to detail, she matched her nails to her jacket, painting them a deep red.

Interestingly, Lara didn’t seem to bring a handbag. Instead, she carried her iPhone in a brightly colored, yellow case, along with a pair of black sunglasses.

It looks like a new style is becoming popular among fashion influencers. During Paris Fashion Week, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, and Rita Ora were all seen without handbags, opting to simply hold their phones or put them in their pockets.
