Gemma Collins seemed very cheerful as she attended the launch of Paddy Power’s Sportsbook alongside Danny Dyer and Peter Crouch. The event was held at a famous location in London.
Celebrities gathered at the renowned Hippodrome Casino to launch the UK’s first officially approved Sportsbook, marking the first instance of a casino offering sports betting. This is a groundbreaking moment for the industry.
Wearing a chic black outfit, Gemma smiled brightly while posing on the specially laid green carpet.
The reality TV personality, previously known for TOWIE, was accompanied by football icon Peter, who has previously appeared in commercials for Paddy Power with his wife, Abbey Clancy.
Danny, currently filming the second series of Rivals, was also present at the event alongside various sporting stars.
The event was also attended by leading figures including jockey Harry Cobden, boxing champion Shannon Courtenay, and Sky Sports presenters Emma Paton and Anna Woolhouse.

This cutting-edge venue, decorated to resemble Ancient Rome, was specifically created to provide an amazing experience for live sports and entertainment. It can seat 120 people in a variety of comfortable settings – including private booths, high-top tables, and lounge chairs – all with excellent views of the action on 50 high-definition screens.
We’ll be covering popular American sports like the NFL, NCAA college football, NBA and Major League Baseball.
The Sportsbook will feature a wide range of popular sports, including the Premier League, Champions League, and other top European football leagues. You’ll also be able to watch Formula One, cricket, rugby, tennis Grand Slams, major golf tournaments, boxing, and UFC fight nights.
Offering a sportsbook was made possible thanks to the implementation of updated regulations for traditional casinos and gaming venues in Britain.
Rupert Elwood, the retail managing director, explained: ‘At Paddy Power, we’ve consistently strived to be innovative and provide customers with the best possible experience – whether they’re visiting our stores or using our online services.’
Okay, so things are *always* changing, right? And honestly, this partnership with the Hippodrome? It’s just… amazing! It totally shows how we’re going to keep putting money into fresh ideas – things that’ll help us reach even *more* people and give them exactly what they want as things shift. I’m seriously so excited to see where this takes us! It’s a brilliant example of our commitment to growth and responding to what everyone’s asking for. I’ve been following this for ages and it’s exactly the kind of move I wanted to see!
People are now looking for places that offer both a lively social scene and excellent entertainment, and the Hippodrome is the most well-known and recognizable social venue in London. This partnership is a dream come true.
Just a few months ago, Gemma shared that she’d lost enough weight to go from a size 26 to a size 20, thanks to starting weight-loss injections.

Although Gemma has been happily showing off her weight loss progress, she was recently shocked to learn about an unexpected and unpleasant side effect of the injections she received.
Earlier this year, Instagram user Gemma expressed worry that her weight loss made her appear aged, even noting her prominent ‘next level’ crow’s feet in a frank post. She’s concerned that losing weight has left her ‘looking older’ and shared this openly with her followers.
She explained, ‘I’m honestly not sure what’s going on with me, I truly don’t. It just appeared suddenly overnight. However, it’s been a year since my last minor cosmetic procedure.’
I’m not sure if it’s related to my weight loss, but I definitely haven’t developed what people are calling “Ozempic face” yet-though that would be amazing right now.
As you’re aware, I’ve always had a rounder face, and I appreciate having some lines around my eyes – they show expression. I still want to look like myself, naturally. However, this current situation isn’t working for me. I’m really wondering what’s going on. I’m 44 years old, but this is far worse than I ever anticipated it could be.
‘Ozempic face’ refers to visible changes in the face, like loose skin and a sunken look, that sometimes happen with quick weight loss. This is often linked to medications such as Ozempic.
At the same time, a source shared with The Mirror that although Gemma seemed to be joking about what happened, she was actually very worried.
She’s been focusing on a very healthy diet and has managed to overcome some of her unhealthy eating habits. She was quite surprised to notice how much weight loss has changed her appearance, especially her face.
She wants to maintain a youthful appearance, so she’s carefully addressing the situation and being upfront about it. Gemma has always been very open and honest regarding her body image, and while she’s faced difficult times in the past, she feels she’s moved beyond those now. It’s a positive step for her, and she’s choosing to be transparent. She’s prioritizing self-acceptance.
Her wrinkle treatments are simply part of her desire to feel and look her best. She believes there’s no use in losing weight if it doesn’t make her happy, so she’s perfectly content with making small adjustments to maintain her well-being.
